Actively Ageing

We are currently offering this unique course aimed at the over 50′s to get you back into fitness and activities!
This Exercise/Educational Course has been professionally designed by Physiotherapists to teach the over 50′s the principals of safe, correctly performed exercise using optimal postures and muscle groups for the purpose of improving their fitness for better future health.

You will be educated on:
- core stability
- safe lifting techniques
- falls prevention strategies
- good nutrition; and
- age-related health issues; in order for you to become more proactive about your health
The exercises have been specifically designed for the more mature person and are offered at 2 different levels of difficulty.
The 30 minute stretching, toning and balance routine is taught over 4 or 8 weeks .By the end of the course, you will be able to perform the exercises safely and correctly.
You will then be qualified to join an on-going Actively Ageing Class or re-enter your preferred sport or exercise safely.
The whole idea is that you will become equipped with the techniques and knowledge required to prevent unnecessary injury, so that you can regain your fitness and have fun doing it!
