Alexander Young

Physiotherapist

Physiotherapy was a comfortable career choice for Alex after excelling and competing at an elite level of Triathlon from a young age. Alex has spent his career in private Physiotherapist practice on the south side of Brisbane city. He graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy at Griffith University with academic excellence.

Alex has a keen interest in spinal pain as well as shoulder injuries which he frequently sees at the Woolloongabba practice. He has also had exposure to these among many other conditions working within AFL, Queensland Premier Grade Rugby Union and soccer teams at an elite level. Alex was fortunate to spend time working in a strength and conditioning gym, where he was able to advance his services and abilities from some of the leading strength and conditioning coaches in Australia. He has developed relationships with well known specialists and surgeons within the area and is one of the go to Physiotherapists in the region for Pre & Post Operative rehabilitation

Alex prides himself on his clear and precise communication and rapport building with patients. He helps individuals to reach outstanding outcomes by optimizing patient health and by getting them back into what matters most – whether it be back on the field, a yoga class or a jog around the park. Alex aims to empower individuals and give them the tools and solutions to manage for the long term.
