Adam Horwitz

Shoulder & Neck Rehab

Adam Horwitz completed his Master of Physiotherapy degree at The University of Sydney, following completion of a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He developed a keen interest in physiotherapy as a young athlete overcoming injuries when competing in football, rugby union and martial arts.

He has a passion for assessment and treatment of shoulder conditions in particular. He also has a keen interest in treating the neck and headache conditions involving the cervical spine. With his experience as a sports trainer and Pilates instructor, he strives to help his clients control their pain and achieve their functional goals.

Hayley graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies from The University of Queensland and also holds a Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Ballarat.

Hayley has been working for the Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club the past 2 years and has developed an interest in treating sporting and lower limb injuries.

Kirstie Davidson.

Lower Back & Hip Rehab
Kirstie first moved to the coast in 2013 where she spent three years working in aged care, treating with massage and exercise. This wan an excellent environment to hone in on her people and communication skills as dealing with conditions such as advanced dementia has its challenges. Since leaving aged care and working in private practise she has kept up those communication skills not only through the usual patients she sees, but regular home visits where improvisation is key. Kirstie has had long stints of taking hydrotherapy classes, and has a large handful of her own Pilates classes, a great way to have fun while exercising at the same time.

Cielo Kelley

Musculoskeletal & Lower Limb

Cielo (pronounced “Shell-o”) graduated from the Australian Catholic University with first class honours. Her research focused on how people cope after rupturing their anterior cruciate ligament – a major stabilising ligament in the knee. Cielo is passionate about providing high-quality treatment by keeping up to date with the latest research and applying evidence-based practice. In 2017, Cielo was invited to present her thesis at the national Australian Physiotherapy Association Conference in Sydney held at the International Convention Centre. Her research is currently submitted for publication as the leading author.

She has since undertaken multiple professional development courses to continue broadening her knowledge on treating sports-related injuries more specifically to the knee. Cielo has a keen interest in treating dance- and sports-related injuries having undertaken eight years of classical ballet training under the Royal Academy of Dance. Cielo is passionate about using a holistic approach to help people get back on their feet and achieve their goals whether it is to improve daily function, return to recreational or competitive sports and or optimise general health and well-being.

Katie Clifford

Musculoskeletal Physio

Katie is a  Sunshine Coast local who graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane. She has since worked in both private practice and aged care treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions as a Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor.

In particular, Katie has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of shoulder conditions and enjoys incorporating Pilates into her patient’s rehabilitation. She also has experience working with an array of neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions including that of Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Congestive Heart Failure.

She places a high emphasis on living an active and healthy lifestyle and is passionate about delivering holistic and individualised high-quality care to ensure her patients achieve their goals, whether that be return to sport, work or day to day life.

Brad Staer

Lower Back Rehab

Since graduating from James Cook University in 2010 Brad has gained extensive experience working in gym, private practice and sports team settings. He has worked in Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and more recently the Sunshine Coast. Brad is passionate about Physiotherapy and loves helping people, always striving for the best outcomes for his patients.

Brad is greatly interested in all areas of musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with a particular interest in acute, chronic and adolescent knees, sports injuries, chronic pain and spinal rehabilitation. He has undertaken further training in all of these fields, in addition to Dry Needling and Pilates.

Brad has a keen interest in sport and fitness in general, but has a great passion for football (aka soccer) and currently plays in the local Sunshine Coast competition. After graduating from school Joe began his studies in Occupational Therapy before moving to his degree Clinical Exercise Physiology .During this time he completed practical placements at local special schools and with a number of  disability support services. Tenikka completed her Clinical Exercise Science Degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast with a passion to help people manage their chronic disease or injury through evidence based exercise prescription and education. Tenikka has a special interest in working with people with Type 2 Diabetes, osteoporosis and low back pain. Erin Man

Musculoskeletal Physio

Before completing her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland, Erin graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University in Toronto, Canada.

Erin utilises a multi-faceted approach tailored to each individual, with a focus on identifying the source of dysfunction and pain, and developing a personalised treatment plan through cooperation and teamwork with her patients. Erin’s goal through treatment is to return her clients to their passion, whether that’s sport, work, or just getting back to their normal life.

Back Pain & Running Injuries
Simon graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Physiotherapy. He competes in triathlons and has a strong interest in all aspects of endurance sport. Simon believes in functional rehabilitation following injury with an emphasis on assisting his patients return to their pre injury level by adopting a holistic approach to treatment.

Alice is a UK Qualified Physiotherapist. She has a Sports and Exercise Science degree from Loughborough University and Completed a Masters in Physiotherapy at University of Southampton. Koren West

Koren West has been focusing on spinal rehabilitation and in particular chronic low back pain for the past 6 years. She has a particular interest in managing patients with a holistic approach to their active rehabilitation using a multidisciplinary team.

Nick Hurrell.

General Physiotherapy
Nick studied at Griffith University where he completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Master of Physiotherapy.
He has a keen interest in sporting injuries which came through his own experience as a semi-professional rugby player as well as working closely with elite athletes from a range of sports. In the past, Nick has worked with the Gold Coast SUNS AFL team as well as contract work with a number of Australian Rugby Union, NRL and NSWIS Diving teams.
Nick has a range of experience with hydrotherapy, neurological, in-home/community, pre and post-op and nursing home rehabilitation.

Georgia graduated from a postgraduate Masters in Physiotherapy on a background of a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Griffith University. Tim Boyle


Tim graduated from the Queensland University of Technology as a Podiatrist in 2006. He has gained valuable experience over the last eight years working in a multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic. Within this setting, Tim had the pleasure of working alongside medical & allied health professionals including Sports Doctors, Physiotherapists, and Massage Therapists.

Tim enjoys a broad scope of podiatry including sports injuries of the lower limb, biomechanical assessments, gait analysis, orthotic therapy, footwear assessments and recommendations, diabetic foot assessments and treatment of conditions of the toenails and skin.  Tim is particularly passionate about running biomechanics and footwear advice/prescription, a special interest that commenced through his strong interest in athletics and involvement in the footwear industry.

Over the years Tim has treated a number of senior and junior athletes from a range of different sports, including 2 years treating both the Brisbane Roar and Brisbane Roar youth teams.

Siliva Tufuga

Lower Back & Spinal Rehab

Originally from New Zealand but graduating from The University of Queensland, Siliva has developed extensive international experience over 20 years of clinical practice including both Australia and the UK. In England he was team leader of a specialised group of advanced orthopaedic clinicians and helped to successfully develop the GP screening clinics and Injection Therapy service. Upon his return home he has spent the past few years treating active Australian troops at the large military base in Enoggera, Brisbane where overloading of the spine and effective return to military service go hand-in-hand.

Accordingly Siliva has vast knowledge in treating spinal disorders and low back pain. He enjoys working with his patients to identify and resolve their daily pain issues and implement strengthening strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Chelsea McCallum


Chelsea is passionate about empowering clients to transform their health and prevent chronic disease. Emily Whitmore

Remedial Massage Therapist

Emily Whitmore graduated from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom in June 2012 achieving a first class honors degree in Sports and Exercise Science. She then went on to complete her Level 5 BTEC Professional Diploma in Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy at the London School of Sports Massage, qualifying in August 2013. She is also a qualified therapist in advanced Dry Needling.

Since qualifying Emily has worked as a Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist within Physiotherapy clinics in the United Kingdom. Her clinical experience also includes working with British Triathlon at their base in Loughborough; this has involved traveling overseas to training camps and European and World Triathlon events, helping to prevent injury and facilitate recovery from training and competition. Emily also worked as the primary masseuse for the Loughborough Students Elite Rugby Union Team who compete in National League 1.

Damien Stewart


Damien has completed a Master of Applied Psychology (Sport & Exercise) and a Master of Philosophy (Psychology) degree at the University of Queensland, Australia. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, an Associate Member of the College of Sport & Exercise Psychology, and a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. Damien is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. As well as this, Damien is a full Member of the College of Sport and Exercise Psychology and a Convenor of the APS Military and Emergency Services Interest Group. Damien came to psychology from a 19-year career in the emergency services sector at both the state and federal level. During this time, he worked in a variety of areas that called for excellence in performance and a dedication to achieving highly valued organisational outcomes.  Damien is registered to work within the Medicare, WorkCover Queensland, and private health insurance systems.

Suzanne Newman

Speech Therapist / Pathologist

Known for the strange vocal noises coming out of the therapy room and enthusiasm for anything to do with voice – therapy, singing, acting, and public speaking. Suzanne also has extensive experience in the treatment of stuttering across all age groups, including the renowned Lidcombe Program.

Suzanne has worked in both educational and health settings providing therapy to both adults and children spanning over 25 years.  Seven of those years were also spent working as a Learning Support Teacher’s Assistant in a school environment.

Hydrotherapy is a supervised exercise program in a heated pool (32 degrees). Hydrotherapy can help relieve pain, promote relaxation, mobilise joints, strengthen muscles, develop balance and coordination, and improve general fitness. Some of the many conditions that benefit from an individualised hydrotherapy include:

  • Back pain
  • Balance/coordination problems
  • Arthritis (Osteo and Rheumatoid)
  • Rehabilitation after bone fracture, joint replacement tendon repair

The New You group exercise class allows you to increase muscle tone and strength thus decreasing load and pain through joints, increase energy levels, reduce health risks (diabetes/heart disease) and increase self esteem and confidence in a social environment. You will have an individually tailored exercise program to suit your needs and goals that will be prescribed after the initial consult. You will be supervised throughout the entire session, ensuring correct technique, with a maximum of 6 people per class. ‘New You’ will benefit anyone looking to rehabilitate any old or new injury in a safe and supervised environment, lose weight, get active and social while learning great tips on managing your health and wellness.

This program is about taking small steps to create big, lasting lifestyle changes for THE NEW YOU!

Move4life is a small group class, run by fully qualified Exercise Physiologists with a focus on falls prevention and strength training for activities of daily living. Move4life focuses on:

  • Improving strength and mobility
  • Decreasing joint pain
  • Improving fitness by enhancing the efficiency of your heart and lunge
  • Facilitating weight loss
  • Improving sleep
  • Enhancing bone health and reducing fracture risk (important in the prevention and management of osteoporosis, reducing falls risk by improving your balance)

Exercise Physiologists are highly skilled in developing exercise programs to suit the needs of seniors and are particularly concerned with people who have a condition which limits them physically and affects their quality of life eg. Arthritis, stroke, fracture, osteoporosis or heart disease. Move4life gym classes provide an enjoyable and social environment with Exercise Physiology supervision to ensure the exercises are instructed and performed correctly.

NuroMovers class is run by a Physiotherapist with a special interest in neurological conditions and is targeted for patients with a neurological movement disorder. The class includes:

  • Specialised neurological physiotherapy assessment and ongoing treatment (outcome measures, with aim to work towards individual functional goals)
  • Evidence-based aerobic and functional exercise prescription
  • Evidence-based outcome measures, with aim to work towards individual functional goals
  • Ongoing information, knowledge and support for management of their condition
  • Progressive evidence-based home exercises
  • Encourage self-management and empowers patients in condition management
  • A  safe and supervised environment to participate in exercise and challenge themselves

Patients appropriate for this class:

  • Diagnosed neurological movement disorder (specifically targeting Parkinsons disease, mild to moderate Stroke and MS)
  • Require stable cardiovascular health and have clearance to participate in aerobic exercise
  • Safely ambulant with or without a walking aid independently or with minimal supervision
  • Cognitively be able to take instruction and participate in a class exercise program independently
