Annaliese Van Schouwen

Annaliese is a registered APA physiotherapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Griffith University, having received the Griffith Award for Academic excellence for each year of her studies.

Growing up, Annaliese admired how her grandmother, who has 52 years of experience as a physiotherapist, was able to use her knowledge and skills to help others. Annaliese has experience working with Indigenous communities in locations such as Wondai, Kingaroy and Cherbourg, and hopes to continue this in the future. Annaliese aims to help patients achieve their individualised goals through education, hands-on treatment and home-based exercise programs. She hopes to deliver an optimal standard of care to her patients to help them achieve their goals and get them back to the things that they enjoy.

Annaliese is very passionate about movement and exercise, and their influence not only on physical health but also mental health. Motion is lotion! Outside of the clinic, Annaliese enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, travelling, and going to the beach.

Annaliese is available for Physiotherapy appointments at our Beenleigh clinic.
