Georgia Nierfeld

After graduating from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), Georgia quickly moved into a private practice role to pursue her interests as a health professional. The pursuit drives her to help her clients overcome their physical barriers and achieve their goals in an active and client-centred approach. She enjoys working with the client to develop a treatment plan that suits their needs.

Georgia has gained experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, such as lower back pain, ankle injuries and hip pain. As her career progresses, Georgia has taken a keen interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and has completed the following:

– Level 1 APA Women’s Pelvic Health
– Level 1 APA Women’s Through The Life Stages
– Level 2 APA Women’s Pelvic Health
– WHTA Advanced Pelvic Floor: Persistent Pain Course

These courses have enabled Georgia to help women with a variety of pelvic floor conditions, such as incontinence, pre and postnatal and pelvic pain. Georgia also runs the Women’s Health Pilates classes three days a week and enjoys empowering women to understand their bodies and move with confidence.

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys exploring new places to hike, a walk along the beach and being in her garden – expanding her veggie patch and ensuring every spot is filled with native plants for her bees.

Georgia is available for Women’s Health appointments at our North Lakes clinic.
