Harris Johnston

Harris completed his postgraduate Masters in Physiotherapy after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Harris’s passion and focus remains on helping patients maintaining an active lifestyle whilst managing their acute or chronic injuries to regain their optimal level of function. Whether that be getting them back onto the sporting field, returning to the gym, back to work or just returning to be able to perform their usual daily regime.

Harris has a strong passion for a hands-on approach to his treatment and utilises various treatment modalities to achieve a positive outcome for his patients. Harris also loves implementing a structured rehabilitation program and preventative strategies to reduce the risk of re-injury, along with tailored stretches and exercises to help reduce pain and flare-ups.

Harris has strong interests within the neck, jaw, headaches and vertigo/dizziness demographic of patients and rehabilitation. Harris has completed additional courses focusing on neck pain, with most recently completing his introductory and advanced course on Vestibular Rehabilitation to provide the best outcomes for his dizzy/vertigo patients. Harris plans to continue learning and developing within this aspect of physiotherapy with him due to complete additional courses on jaw pain and headaches in early 2022.

Outside of work, Harris has a keen interest in rugby league, supporting the Penrith Panthers, going to the beach and trail hikes with friends, along with being an amateur photographer of nature and enjoys chasing the milky-way for some astrophotography.

Harris is available for appointments at our Redcliffe clinic.
