I went in for back pain. After therapy, l noticed immediately the pain gone and have stayed pain-free ever since. It's been 4 weeks since the 1st visit. I highly recommend a visit for your whatever problem. Worth the try?

Podiatrist Joel Erskine is absolutely brilliant. His kindness and gentle nature with my 9yo son was exceptional. My son was really worried about having treatment to his plantar warts. Joel has been able to reassure him with age appropriate explanations along the way. Highly recommended.
I have been attending Sports and Spinal since it opened here. I have a chronic pain issue and have liaised with many admin staff/physiotherapists/EP/remedial massage and podiatry over the years. I’ve always been treated by staff well knowing my personality intrinsically and the fact I have a background of adverse healthcare. I love using the gym area it’s been a godsend since I injured myself in 2011. Highly recommended.
Had a remedial massage from Kristi and I can't recommend her enough. Put me at ease immediately and I left feeling 10x better.

Hands down the best therapist on the Gold Coast. I’ve been going to Adrian every week for 3 years. He understands the body in a way that will ruin you for other therapists.
The whole experience here was 5-star! All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, I received a massage from Destiny for shoulder/neck pain and knee tendonitis and she was extremely helpful in both areas, always checking if the pressure was okay with very targetted massage techniques, she was also willing to give advice on the best recovery methods, I feel significantly better now! I've had remedial massages my entire life and this has easily yielded the best results, I will be returning for any problem areas and general maintenance!!! HIGHLY recommend!

Booked a podiatrist appointment last week at late notice. Scheduled it for the same day appointment was on time reception and specialist both very friendly and even though I had booked a 30 Min appointment only charged me for a 20 min appointment as that's all the time it took. Would definitely recommend

Excellent massage with Adrian today. It was up there with the best ive ever had.
After an industrial accident I needed physio and after using this place a few years ago , which was satisfactory, i again went there .I got Kim as my physio and after her exercise regime for me and her magical hands I was able to obtain movement that allowed me to get going far sooner than I expected.I highly recommend Sports and Spinal for any treatment and through my experience they are the best .

After struggling with headaches and lower back pain, I started seeing Massage Therapist, Destiny Fountain at the St Lucia clinic. She has been brilliant in being able to pinpoint the source of the pain, providing effective treatment, and exercises to help alleviate future issues.I can't recommend her treatment highly enough.

I saw Corey Prior for a torn disc in my lower back and continue to go back for any flare ups or other Injuries.He has been brilliant, i was nervous that my back would never be the same again but sure enough when I finished my 3 month program i was painfree and felt stronger than I ever have before.
Cannot recommend Sports & Spinal Springfield more highly. I’ve seen Cielo, Claire and Pumi for physio and Kirsty for massage and they have all been fantastic. The at home exercises and after care have also been really helpful to minimise my soreness both pre and post natally. Will definitely be returning again. Thank you so much team!

Had a knee issue for over a year following the COVID break. Went to Sports and Spinal and received some simple exercises to complete. After a month or two my knee was better and was able tor run pain free again. Fantastic staff, solved my problem, and gave simple explanations to follow at home.

Healthy Gingerbread - Dietitian Approved ✅

▫️ 1 1/2 cups wholemeal spelt flour (plus 1/4 cup extra)*
▫️ 1/4 cup maple syrup
▫️ 2 tsp ground ginger
▫️ 2 tsp ground cinnamon
▫️ 1/4 tsp ground cloves
▫️ 1/4 tsp bicarb soda
▫️ 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
▫️ 2 tbsp milk (any type)

Method 🥄
1. Preheat oven to 150C.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the 1 1/2 cups flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and bicarb soda.
3. Form a well in the centre of the flour mixture and pour in the oil, maple syrup, and milk then mix to combine.
4. If the mixture is sticky, add the extra 1/4 cup of flour. 
5. With a rolling pin, roll the dough flat. Roughly 0.5cm thick.
6. Cut the dough out with cookie cutters and lay the biscuits on a lined baking tray.
7. Form a ball with the left-over dough and repeat steps 4-5 for the remaining dough.
8. Bake for 10-13 minutes until golden and then decorate however you wish!

* Can use Gluten Free or Buckwheat flour as an alternative 

Makes 18 biscuits: Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Low fodmap, Vegan
Nutritional information per biscuit: Cal: 86 Fat: 3.5g Carbs: 11.6g Protein: 1.8g

Last month Maroochydore Exercise Physiologist, Blair Austin graduated to local celebrity status!

Blair took part in an interview on ABC radio 🎙discussing ‘bungalow legs’ - a term referring to muscle wastage in the legs as a result of not regularly using stairs🦵It is often experienced by elderly people who move into a single story dwelling. 🏠

Maintaining leg strength is important as we age, to ensure mobility and independence is maintained.🕺 A lack of leg strength can greatly increase the risk of falls and injury.

You might be worried about the way the person you’re talking to will react, and there’s a lot of fear around getting it wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️

That’s why this Perinatal Mental Health Week, we want you to know that everyone needs help at some point in their lives, and everyone deserves compassion and support 🙋🏾‍♀️ 

Reaching out, truly listening and making a connection is more important than getting the words completely perfect. 

The PANDA Helpline provides counselling, referral and peer support from parents who have been through similar challenges. When someone calls, they will speak with a counsellor who understands the challenges of being a new or expecting parent. PANDA counsellors and peer workers listen with kindness and compassion, help callers explore support options, and can also provide information about appropriate specialist services” @pandanational
