about us

With multiple locations throughout Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Fraser Coast you are in good hands with Sports & Spinal.

With a deep passion to make a difference in people’s lives, Simon Burley established the original Sports & Spinal clinic in 1992. From humble beginnings in a small office space in Maroochydore initially offering only physiotherapy, Simon recognized an opportunity to expand the range of healthcare services on offer and to reach a broader demographic.

Today, Simon is joined by partners Sean Campbell and Andrew Duff and Sports & Spinal has evolved to 20+ clinics staffed by over 300 professionals who offer a wide array of allied health services including Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Remedial Massage, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Women’s Health, Clinical Pilates, and much more.

The dedicated team serves communities across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Fraser Coast employing a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare.

For over 30 years, Sports & Spinal have been inspiring, engaging, and empowering everyone on their journey of health & wellbeing. Sports & Spinal has cemented itself as the standard of exceptional allied healthcare and we’re only just getting started.

Underpinned by its values, Sports & Spinal strives to respect all, be memorable, collaborate and grow, innovate for the future and show the love. The team works tirelessly to provide evidence-based care to their patients, working closely with local Doctors, General Practitioners, and Specialists to ensure tailored health outcomes are achieved.

Simon feels the key to Sports & Spinal’s success has been the high professionalism of the staff combined with the friendly family atmosphere.

“Many of our physios and staff have been with us over 20 years and our families have grown up together.”

“Our senior staff have all developed their skills in their respective interest areas to create their own tailored programs unique to our patients.”

Our point of difference from other practices is that our senior staff have all developed their skills via postgraduate studies and courses to further enhance their knowledge. This ensures that you receive the most up-to-date evidence and experienced-based care. In a small practice, you have to be a “jack of all trades’, but in larger clinics (like Sports & Spinal), we can provide specific care for a wide variety of conditions.
