Trent Brumby

Physiotherapist

Trent completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, followed by a Masters of Physiotherapy (Sports) at the University of South Australia. He developed an extensive variety of treatment skills from working in Australia and the USA.

Trent has worked on the Sunshine Coast for over 20 years and provided treatment of patients to numerous medical and orthopaedic specialists. He has a high degree of experience in managing shoulder conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries.
Following a competitive sporting background in hockey and triathlon, Trent now maintains an active lifestyle with his family involved in surfing, surf-lifesaving, hockey and golf.

Jayden Erskine

Podiatrist

Jayden graduated from Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast, where he worked in private practice before transitioning to the Sunshine Coast.

Jayden is passionate about treating patients for all types of foot, ankle, calf and shin pain, particularly bone and joint, soft tissue and muscular pathologies. He has a strong interest in sports and musculoskeletal injury management and has been fortunate to work with the Gold Coast Suns AFL and ALFW teams.

Jayden has experience with diabetic assessment, orthotic prescription, footwear assessment and advice, paediatric management, general care and nail surgeries.

Jayden’s priority is to enable people of all ages to maintain an active lifestyle and deliver tailored treatment solutions based on individual goals.

Jayden is available for Podiatry appointments at our Maroochydore and Buderim clinics.

Darcy Dore

Podiatrist

Darcy has recently relocated to Brisbane for a lifestyle change and to enjoy the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than being outside in the sun, exploring trails with a new pair of running shoes and is passionate about assisting clients with their functional goals.

Darcy graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Podiatry. Since then he has undertaken post-graduate study at The University of Melbourne, completing a Graduate Diploma of Sports Medicine to enhance the clinical management of athletic populations and weekend warriors alike. Darcy has also undertaken further study in the use of Point of Care Ultrasound to assist with an accurate diagnosis of foot, ankle and lower limb injuries.

Darcy has worked exclusively in private practice throughout his career, including working alongside one of Australia’s leading Podiatric Surgeons, providing post-operative rehabilitation to assist clients with returning to full function. He has also worked in the sub-elite soccer league NPL2, providing taping, soft tissue treatment, acute injury management, and traditional podiatry services.

Being a keen runner himself Darcy has a special interest in rehabilitating injured runners and provides services such as Video Gait Analysis, Running Gait Retraining, Footwear Prescription and Return to Running plans. He enjoys helping people of all abilities, from those who want to enjoy pain-free walking to those planning to run a marathon to prevent frequent injuries or setbacks.

Darcy also provides traditional podiatric services, including; foot orthoses prescription, general skin and nail care and diabetic assessment.

Mariella Bernard

Exercise Physiologist

Mariella recently relocated to the sunshine coast after completing her clinical exercise physiology degree at the University of Queensland. Mariella pursued her further studies as an exercise physiologist after her experience as a Physiotherapist in Sri Lanka. Mariella brings experience in both disciplines and enjoys working with all conditions and disabilities with her main interests being Neurological and Cardiac rehabilitation. Mariella’s passion is to promote and facilitate exercise in an engaging and unique manner, upon fostering strong relationships with clients. Mariella continues her professional development is all areas of exercise physiology and developing her knowledge and skills through practice. She also has an interest in delving into exercise prescription and programming for Women’s and/or Men’s health.

Trina Reynolds

Exercise Physiologist

Trina’s interest in maintaining health and wellness led her to study for a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. She has worked with many clients and conditions and is particularly interested in improving strength, flexibility, and functional conditioning to support daily living. Trina believes that a healthy lifestyle can improve chronic conditions and longevity. Trina’s clinical interests are gait rehabilitation, strength training for bone health, and the prevention of chronic conditions.

Tim East

Massage Therapist

Tim loves helping people and tailoring the massage to individual needs, incorporating relaxation into remedial. Tim has a big focus on making sure your problems are addressed through massage and minor lifestyle changes. You can leave feeling relaxed, restored, and equipped with the knowledge needed to fix and maintain your body for the long term. He specialises in deep tissue, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, and muscle energy techniques.

Aravinth Nallathamby

Physiotherapist

Aravinth graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy. He is currently studying his Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.
His career started at the University of Peradeniya as a physiotherapist treating patients at the outpatient unit and the Teaching Hospital Peradeniya in Sri Lanka.
He completed a physiotherapy internship with the Sri Lanka cricket men’s national team during the T20 WorldCup in 2012
Aravinth followed a mentoring programme in Singapore in private practice under the Singapore National Netball Team Physiotherapist and National Rugby Team Physiotherapist.
Aravinth has worked in private practice, hospital settings, and with the Sri Lanka Cricket board, a division Rugby club team and secondary school rugby teams.
He is interested in General Physiotherapy, Sports Physiotherapy and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

James Benoit

Physiotherapist

James is an APA titled Sports Physiotherapist, receiving his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy from Griffith University. He is also credentialed in the McKenzie Method of treating spinal and musculoskeletal injuries. James is a member of Sports Medicine Australia and has extensive experience working with athletes at an elite and recreational level in Australia and the USA. He has worked as a physiotherapist at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. He has a passion for road and mountain biking.

James is passionate about helping people with complex and difficult-to-diagnose conditions, including shoulder, neck, lower back and knees. He enjoys working with his clients to get them back to enjoying their favourite sports and activities.

Karen Benoit

Physiotherapist

Karen graduated from the University of Sydney in 1992.
Karen has a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, she is particularly interested in disorders of the neck, back, hips and pelvis, with a focus and extensive continuing education in Women’s Health and Continence physiotherapy. Karen was selected to provide physiotherapy to athletes at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health group.
Karen worked in NSW and the U.S.A, before settling in Gympie, where she has worked in private practice since 2000.

Jaime Singleton

Advanced Women's & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

With over 15 years of experience in the field of Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Jaime has been fortunate enough to work in the largest Maternity hospital in Australia, liaise alongside specialist Gynecologists, Urogynaecologists, Colorectal surgeons and Pain Doctors, and treat countless patients across the lifespan from teenage years to the elderly.
Jaime has completed post-graduate study and many advanced courses in pelvic health; taught university students both on an undergraduate and postgraduate level; presented at international conferences; headed the Allied Health teams for Persistent Pelvic Pain clinics in the areas of Endometriosis and Pelvic Mesh injuries, and worked in both the public and private sectors of health and Physiotherapy.
Jaime loves working with all pelvic health clients in helping them to understand their conditions and champion them to take control of their rehabilitation to optimise their outcomes.
Jaime loves working with pelvic pain and post-operative patients; she is qualified to fit pessaries for pelvic organ prolapse management; and is a qualified Level 4 DMA Clinical Pilates instructor as well, so individualised exercise prescription is a large part of her treatment approach.
Outside of work, you’ll find Jaime either spending bulk time with my dogs, at any live music I can find (a sucker for RnB!), or down at the beach, which is why I moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast!

Emily Ricketts

Psychologist

Originally a Melbourne local, Emily is a psychologist who completed her undergraduate and graduates diploma studies at Monash University. She then completed her Master in Psychology (Sport and Exercise) at the University of Queensland. Emily is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, as well as a member of the College of Sport and Exercise Psychology.

Emily has diverse experience working in general psychological counselling, chronic pain and the sporting world. She has worked with AFL and rugby league development teams and individual athletes, and provided mindfulness for the Australian Olympic Teams during quarantine. She has also provided psychology services to young people and adults with goals to improve quality of life and wellbeing, individuals adjusting to or returning from injury, those coping with anxiety, and/or depression, along with various other mental health concerns.

Emily is passionate about providing a safe space to help her clients build their self-confidence, improve their overall quality of life, and live their lives as authentically as possible.

Emily welcomes all clients, regardless of their presenting concerns and has a special interest in anxiety, depression, body image, adjustment to injury and general counselling.

Outside of work, Emily is passionate about health and fitness and will regularly be found in the gym or eating at one of QLD’s best restaurants.

Jacob Hook

Remedial Massage Therapist

Jacob has completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage. Before his studies to become a remedial therapist he studied at the University of the Sunshine Coast and obtained his Diploma in Sports Science. He is currently a member of the Massage and Myotherapy Australia association. Jacob’s main goal is to treat and teach massage techniques so that his clients can reduce their pain and tension at home, by themselves.
In his free time, Jacob loves to surf, mountain bike, and play golf with friends and family.
He looks forward to meeting you.

Kim Minne

Physiotherapist

New to Brisbane; Kim joins us from sunny Cape Town, South Africa.
Having completed her Physiotherapy (Honours) degree at the University of the Western Cape in 2014, she planted roots in her community, working with a variety of patients along with all aspects of injury and health. Kim is passionate about continued learning and has added Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates to her skills list. This has been to her patient’s benefit as she has run and managed Pilates mat work classes for 6 years. Her expertise lies in, post orthopaedic and lower back injuries and returning her patients back to their previous functioning.
Kim maintains an active lifestyle – running, hiking and playing hockey, which has fed into her interests in keeping people moving and injury prevention. Her new area of interest is in Women’s Health and hopes to build and grow in this field in her new position. She is friendly and chatty and therefore enjoys working closely with her patients to create specific programs to achieve their most favoured outcomes.
After building up her experience in South Africa, she was ready for a new adventure and challenge thus joining the team across the waters at Sports and Spinal.

Kelly Grant

Physiotherapist

Born and raised in the UK, Kelly participated in professional vocational dance training at The Royal Ballet School and developed an interest in Physiotherapy through her own personal experience with injury rehabilitation and recovery. Kelly graduated from The University of Birmingham, UK, with a 1st class BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2012 and went on to complete diverse clinical rotations in Cardiorespiratory, Neurology, Trauma and Orthopaedics and General Medicine at a Major Trauma Hospital, working with world-leading surgeons, prior to specialising in Musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She has over 10 years of experience as a Physiotherapy clinician, working in both the national health service and private sectors, and has worked with people from diverse backgrounds with a broad range of injuries and conditions, including persistent pain, thereby developing key knowledge and skills in pain neuroscience, injury assessment, prevention and rehabilitation.

As a keen Runner, Dancer, Yogi and Gym-goer Kelly are enthusiastic about exercise and the benefits of enjoying a healthy, balanced lifestyle and sought to expand her knowledge and skills in this area through the completion of an MSc module in Exercise Prescription and Rehabilitation at The University of Hertfordshire in 2020. She has also completed additional training in Acupuncture and Sports Massage and seeks to combine manual therapy with exercise and education to provide holistic and individualised treatment plans.
Kelly is an APPI-trained Mat Work Pilates instructor and has extensive experience teaching both 1:1 sessions and classes.
Kelly has a specialist interest in shoulder and upper limb rehabilitation, with prior experience establishing an advanced level rehabilitation class, with the aim of returning individuals to sport and manual occupations.

Kelly is passionate about hearing people’s stories, building trusting and collaborative relationships, individualising the rehabilitation process and empowering people to not only achieve their goals but to exceed their own expectations and take ownership of improving their quality of life.
Kelly has a keen interest in mindfulness and the benefits of exercise on mental health and well-being and likes to explore this in her approach to Physiotherapy management.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys an active lifestyle of Running, Hiking, Gym training and, more recently, Paddle Boarding. She loves going to the theatre and attending live music events, as well as being a keen traveller. She has recently relocated to Australia and is looking forward to exploring.

 

Chyanne Everingham

Exercise Physiologist

Chyanne completed a master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Southern Cross University, Gold Coast, in 2020. From a young age, Chyanne developed a special interest in neurological rehabilitation, which has led to her passion for exercise physiology and helping people reach their optimal function.

Chyanne likes to think outside of the box when prescribing exercise to provide a tailored exercise program that is specific to each individual’s goals, whether that is to increase mobility, function or overall health.

Outside of work, Chyanne likes to listen to live music, spend time with friends and family and chase sunsets.

Josh Great

Sports Physiotherapist

Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University in 2016. Heading straight into private practice work, Josh developed a passion for guiding patients along their rehabilitation journey and ensuring they are well informed and included in all the steps along the way. With a keen love of footballing (that’s the round ball) and sports-related injuries. After some time working, Josh migrated to the UK to broaden his horizons and diversify his physiotherapy practice. He engaged in various contracts in musculoskeletal practice and even rapid upskilling in hospital physiotherapy as part of the UK’s COVID19 response.
Personal and professional development are both key takeaways from his time overseas (and of course a repertoire of travel tales). He enjoys treating all sports-related injuries, particularly the knee and ankle and bridging the gap between injury and return to sport. Josh understands the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle and takes a holistic approach to treatment, working with the patient to meet and conquer goals.
At any time left over in the week, Josh is a member of Football Queensland Referees and takes charge of local football games most weekends. He is a coffee and red wine enthusiast who enjoys the outdoors, beach, hiking and a gym session or jogs to round off the week.

 

Maddie Paton

Podiatrist

Maddie is an experienced podiatrist who, since graduating in 2015, has worked in private podiatry practices in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She has recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane to be closer to family.

Maddie enjoys performing all aspects of podiatric care and treating patients of all ages and abilities. This includes treating general skin and nail conditions, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, and musculoskeletal injuries. She has a solid understanding of the treatment and rehabilitation of athletes at all levels have played netball at both a representative and social level.

Maddie also has over 10 years of experience working in both the casual and exercise footwear spheres providing her with a wealth of knowledge surrounding footwear prescription. In addition to this, she has worked alongside some of the states leading sporting teams and their rehabilitation teams.

Maddie is available for Podiatry appointments at our Caloundra and Sippy Downs clinics.

Tim Lynch

General Physiotherapist

Tim graduated from James Cook University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has over 10 years of experience working in the fields of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. He has worked as a physiotherapist within Queensland Health, The Australian Department of Defence and the Queensland Academy of Sport as well as extensively in private practice. Tim went on to further his education and completed a Masters’ Degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy at Griffith University in 2016. He is now recognized by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) as a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and a Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. This has allowed Tim to work and travel with sporting teams (including the Queensland Women’s AFL Academy and Men’s Australian University Rugby 7’s team) as well as elite individual athletes who have competed at the Commonwealth Games and Paralympics.

Tim has a passion for providing an accurate assessment and treatment for both acute and chronic injuries, with a focus on enabling patients to stay active and reach their individual rehabilitation goals. He has a firm belief in patient education, evidence-based treatment modalities and the development of individual exercise programs for people of all ages. His key areas of interest include persistent lower back and neck pain, acute sporting injuries and sports injury prevention programs. Tim has completed several external physiotherapy courses which have given him further knowledge of treatment modalities including advanced manual therapy skills, dry needling, hydrotherapy and Pain Science Education.

Tim recently moved to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane in 2021 with his wife and young son. Both he and his young family are loving the laidback lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast. On the weekends, Tim can be found searching for the best coffee shops in the local area and going for long walks along the beach with his family and their black Labrador.

Clare Farrands

Interest in Women's Health Physiotherapist

Clare has a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science as well as a BSc in Physiotherapy and has over 12 years of experience working in Private Practice and in a Hospital setting. She moved back to Hervey Bay with her husband to raise her young family and enjoy the beautiful Fraser Coast. You may recognise Clare as she was at the clinic a few years ago. She has a keen interest and has furthered her knowledge in Pilates, women’s health, vestibular dysfunction and fall prevention.

Blair Austin

Exercise Physiologist

Blair is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), having completed his degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Tasmania in 2020. Blair has previous experience in Strength and Conditioning and as an Occupational Rehab Consultant. This has provided Blair with valuable experience in functional strength training and Work Cover. Blair has developed an interest in injury rehabilitation, athlete development and chronic disease management.

Blair provides client-focused care to assist you with reaching your goals through a holistic approach to exercise. Blair understands that everyone has unique needs and delivers tailored care, specific to each client. Blair is invested in providing his clients with the skills and knowledge needed to be independent in their health.

In his spare time, Blair is an avid mountain biker and enjoys making the most of the warm climate by spending weekends at the beach or bushwalking.

Dee

Massage Therapist

With 5+ years in the industry, Dee holsters a range of techniques for your treatment plan. She has undergone various training courses and strives to be as best-equipped as possible for a range of presentations. Depending on your goals, your treatment is likely to include a combination of techniques, some of which being:

myofascial release: an effective way to reduce broad tension, with long, deep pressure being applied
trigger point therapy: an effective way to release those pesky knots
functional cupping: a “western” take on the traditional therapy, where you perform muscle-specific movements while the cups are in place
(requires participation, ranges from about 5-15 minutes in duration)
passive stretches: slow, deep breathing while you allow yourself to get taken into deep stretches

When Dee is not in the clinic or studying, chances are she’s hanging out with the parents or taking her kids on outdoor adventures in the ranges or along the coast.

Kirrily Robinson

Dietitian

Kirrily Robinson is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who graduated from the University of Sunshine Coast Kirrily’s ambition is to inspire, motivate and support clients to create balanced and realistic nutritional goals in order to achieve sustainable long-term health. Kirrily has a friendly and non-judgemental maturity to ensure clients feel comfortable talking about their nutritional goals and provides an individualised approach, understanding that each client has different needs and values for their health journey.

Kirrily’s special interest areas include but are not limited to: Women’s health & pregnancy nutrition, gut health, nutritional deficiencies, building healthy food relationships, diabetes and paediatric nutrition. In her spare time, Kirrily enjoys being active, going for coffee with friends & family and baking delicious recipes.

Sha Sani

Podiatrist

Sha moved to Brisbane over five years ago to pursue a career in podiatry at QUT after noticing the common lower limb ailments her elders were experiencing.

Sha spent most of her free time volunteering at various aged care facilities to help the elderly maintain good foot health, and has a particular interest in dermatological foot conditions, nails, as well as high-risk foot care.

She also has an affinity for orthotic therapy and technology after conducting research in her final year as an honours student at QUT.

 

Pauline Lindsay

Remedial Massage Therapist

After working in hospitality for many years, Pauline decided she needed a career change and became a qualified remedial massage therapist in 2018. Originally from Scotland but has been living in Australia for 25years. Pauline has worked as a Massage Therapist in Noosa and Brisbane; Pauline has recently moved to Hervey Bay.

Pauline’s primary experience is in remedial and relaxation massages, but she also has experience with pregnancy, deep tissue, and hot stones. Pauline is constantly fascinated and intrigued with all aspects of the body and is always keen to learn more. She is currently studying allied health and looking forward to putting her learning into practice.

Pauline enjoys spending time with my family, friends, and pets and walking on the beach outside of work.

Kim Opdam

Physiotherapist

Kim graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Throughout her studies, Kim gained invaluable experience across multiple fields including cardiothoracic, neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. With a passion for health and fitness, Kim loves working with individuals using a variety of treatment modalities to assist her patients in returning to feeling their best and reaching their goals. Kim acknowledges the role that good communication and individual empowerment have on patient outcomes and employs a warm and welcoming approach to her treatment sessions.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys all things outdoors including running, camping and hiking and is a keen traveller having spent time travelling both in Australia and overseas.
After recently relocating to Queensland, Kim looks forward to exploring all that the local area has to offer.

Kale Hoggins

Exercise Physiologist

Kale graduated from La Trobe University in Bendigo with a bachelor of exercise science and a master of exercise physiology. Placement opportunities took him to the country and metropolitan Melbourne, where he could sharpen his skills with a wide range of chronic conductions. Kale joins the team, having worked in private practice in Victoria’s surf coast before seeking the warmer weather and water of QLD.

Kale is respectful, empathetic and easy to get along with and believes that results and relationships are crucial factors as an exercise physiologist. He is particularly passionate about musculoskeletal rehabilitation, functional movement patterns and improving quality of life.

In his spare time, Kale enjoys AFL and cricket as a supporter and a player, trying his best to catch a wave and spending time outdoors.

Paul Ostwald

Remedial Massage Therapist

Paul Ostwald is an outstanding Remedial Massage Therapist. Paul completed his Dip in 2021 at Q Academy Sunshine Coast. His first training was in 2006, completing a certificate of Sports Massage with Sports Medicine Australia.
Paul has experienced many years of sport at a competitive level, including Rugby League, Basketball, Rugby Union, Cricket, Touch Football and Ocean Paddling. Many injuries later, Paul turned to remedial massage as the primary modality of treatment and management of his body. Whether it be injury recovery/management or general maintenance, it worked so well that Paul decided to make it his career after years in the cooperate world.
Paul’s training experience also covers relaxation massage, reflexology, MLD, and techniques such as Myofascial Release Therapy, Neuromuscular Release Therapy, Positional Release Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, and Joint Mobilisations, Stretching, Taping, Myofascial Cupping and TENS Machine applications.

Megan Hawkins

General Physiotherapist

Megan graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honors. During her training, Megan worked with Collegians Football Club in the Victorian Amateur Football League where she treated sports injuries in football players and has a strong interest in lower limb rehabilitation.

After graduating, Megan worked in a large tertiary hospital in Melbourne where she obtained extensive clinical experience in Orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation and acute cardiorespiratory conditions.

Megan moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2019. Since her move, Megan has been working in rehabilitation at Noosa Hospital, helping patients return to meaningful activities after orthopedic surgery, illness and injury. Megan has a special interest in working with patients experiencing persistent pain and has significant experience working in the Pain Program at Noosa Hospital managing pain conditions using a biopsychosocial approach.

On the weekends, Megan enjoys cycling, running, going to the beach and has been giving surfing a go. With a background in competitive netball and triathlon.

Coen Watts

General Physiotherapist

Coen completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University. He has had clinical experience in both a hospital and community setting. Coen strives to use individualised exercise therapy and education to support others to reach their goals.

Coen has a particular interest in physiotherapy’s musculoskeletal and neurological fields, which he is eager to continue building to deliver the best care. This interest was developed through his work as a sports trainer for local sporting teams and his own sporting involvement.

Coen enjoys fishing, going to the beach, playing soccer, and spending time with friends and family outside of work.

Damien Kerley

Exercise Physiologist

Damien is a Sunshine Coast local. He has travelled extensively throughout Australia and overseas and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. He loves the beach, where he spends a great deal of time surfing or running with his dog Rolly.

Damien graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and strives to stay up to date with the latest research to better assist individuals with a range of musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic conditions and mental health conditions.

He has played numerous sports over the years and enjoyed the competition and camaraderie that comes with involvement. It is his hope to assist you in getting into or back into the activities that you love and achieve your lofty goals.

Sadhbh McCarthy

Podiatrist

Sadhbh immigrated to Brisbane from Ireland with her family in 2011. Having worked within a sporting environment, she decided to undertake a Bachelor of Podiatry at QUT.

As a mum of 3 and with a background in high-performance sport, her interests lay in injury management and paediatrics. Sadhbh has extensive experience working with a diverse range of people providing understanding, empathy and a collaborative approach to care.

Jarrod Herman

Exercise Physiologist

Jarrod graduated from QUT with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and with a strong passion for treating a wide range of conditions, especially musculoskeletal conditions. Jarrod’s passion is driven through the enjoyment of improving the lives of those living with comorbidities through personably tailored and evidence-based exercise prescriptions. Outside of work, Jarrod has a history of being an elite level swimmer and enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through swimming and strength and conditioning. Jarrod also enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, watching sports such as the AFL and attending live music.

Jayden Arnold

Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Jayden graduated from the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane; he started his career working in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane, managing a wide range of clients from the everyday worker to the elite sportsman.

Having played at a very high level of soccer himself, Jayden gained experience managing a range of semi-pro and professional teams in Australia alongside his private practice work before moving to London, United Kingdom. Jayden quickly established himself as a very respected Physiotherapist in London, treating a wide range of athletes, actors, and high profile clientele. He also developed a close working relationship with some of the world’s leading orthopaedic surgeons, sports doctors and other health professionals managing complex cases alongside each other to achieve remarkable outcomes.

Jayden has vast experience in treating all areas of the body, including complex conditions, but he has a keen interest in hips, knees and ankles, as well as tendon conditions. His philosophy in treating all injuries and pain is to allow the patient to continue being as physically active as possible while rehabilitating their pain or problem.

Jayden’s last two years were spent as the Head of Physiotherapy for one of London’s biggest Private Physiotherapy companies managing Ten clinics and a large number of health professionals. Alongside treating clients, he has a keen interest in helping mentor other Physiotherapists to provide exceptional care to their patients.

In his spare time, Jayden loves travelling and has been to over 30 countries so far; he plays soccer and enjoys watching all sports but in particular the English Premier League.

Daniel Leahy

Exercise Physiologist

Daniel graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. Seeking a tropical change and a fresh start to begin his career as an EP, Daniel joins us from South Australia, where he has lived his entire life. Having always been involved in sports growing up, the opportunity to study and work in a field which allows him to use his passion for exercise to assist people to live better lives was a natural choice. Placement opportunities across Adelaide and Darwin have exposed him to a range of chronic conditions and presentations, and he has experience working with NDIS, Medicare, DVA and Work Cover clients.

Daniel strives to work with clients to set out individualised and meaningful goals, and assists them to achieve these goals through specific and evidence-based exercise programs. Daniel is particularly interested in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, helping people to correct movement patterns, reduce pain and recover from injury or surgery. As well as this, he also has a keen interest in neurological conditions, helping people improve their physical function and quality of life through exercise.

Outside of work, Daniel has a passion for many sports, including AFL, cricket and basketball. He also enjoys travel and spending time exploring our own backyard.

Amy Webster

Dietitian

Amy is an accomplished Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) whose person-centred approach is both caring and compassionate, whilst also being realistic and achievable. Her warm and kindly demeanour, paired with her devotion to her clients’ health, resonates with people as they work together towards achieving a healthier lifestyle tailored to their individual circumstances. Amy holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. Since graduating, Amy has gained a wealth of experience, working across various settings, including hospital, community health and public health. Her experience has led to the development of her special interests in chronic health management in conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease and also gut health. Outside of work, Amy enjoys time in nature bushwalking, kayaking, gardening and travelling.

Ashleigh Graves

Shoulder & Lower Limb Physiotherapist

Ashleigh joins the Sports and Spinal team with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland. Since graduating, Ashleigh has gained a wealth of experience working across all fields of physiotherapy, particularly within sports Physiotherapy, and has spent the past few years working in Rugby Union. Ashleigh is currently the Junior Academy Physiotherapist for the Queensland Reds.
Ashleigh enjoys the challenges of working in sports and applies this level of diligence in managing all of her patients. Her interests have led her to gain further qualifications in Dry Needling and Western Acupuncture, Strength and Conditioning and Clinical Pilates. She has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of lower back, shoulder, knee and ankle injuries.
She enjoys working with people of all abilities and ages and believes in an evidence-based and individualised approach to help guide you towards your goals, whether that be moving out of pain, into performance or onto prevention.
Ash enjoys staying active and loves to get outside for a walk or play a social game of touch footy when not working.

Jorjia Earle-Broadley

Physiotherapist

Jorjia is a new graduate Physiotherapist joining the Sports and Spinal team. Jorjia studied at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and has graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy with Academic Excellence.

Jorjia is passionate about all aspects of physiotherapy and is driven to empower individuals to achieve successful health outcomes through encouraging self-management, improving movement and getting you back to what you love to do.

Through individualised assessment and a patient-centred holistic approach, Jorjia is motivated to assist you in reaching your goals. Jorjia is interested in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, powerlifting, sports physiotherapy and injury prevention.

Outside of the clinic, Jorjia enjoys strength training at the gym, grabbing a coffee, and spending time with her friends and family (especially her two rescue cats).

Emily Abbott

Women's Health Physiotherapist

Emily graduated from Curtin University in Western Australia in 2018 with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy. She then spent several years in a public hospital in Tasmania, where she worked across a large variety of areas, including medical, surgical, orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, maternity, paediatrics, musculoskeletal and intensive care. She also has experience in the private hospital sector and aged care.

It was in her years in Tasmania that she developed a passion for Women’s and Men’s PelvicHealth after her work across maternity wards, outpatient pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain and post urogynaecological and prostatectomy surgeries.

She has since gone on to complete several postgraduate courses in Pelvic Health and is soon to finish completing her postgraduate studies in Pelvic Health at the University of Melbourne.

Emily can treat and assist in pre and post-natal management, prolapse, urinary incontinence, bladder concerns and rehabilitation support for urogynaecological surgeries.

Emily’s passion is to partner with women to create and facilitate holistic health, well-being and empowerment.

Outside of work, you can find Emily spending time with friends, curled up in a sunny corner with a good book, exercising and playing a sport, and exploring the great outdoors – hiking, swimming, playing in waterfalls… discovering all that this WA girl can in her new home on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Jarrad Heath

Jarrad completed his training at Australian Catholic University, Brisbane, in 2014. He has recently returned from the United Kingdom to work in Private Practice.
Jarrad is completing his Post Graduate master of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. He is enthusiastic about staying up to date with the latest research and evidence to assist his clients in achieving their goals.
Jarrad specialises in the Lower back, Hip and Knee pathologies. He enjoys facilitating his return to sports, having undergone an ACL reconstruction. Jarrad also likes to assist with injury prevention. By working with each patient, he aims to understand exactly what each client needs.
He is a returned Sunshine Coast local who can’t escape from all this region has to offer. Jarrad is an ex-competitive swimmer and can be found at the gym, watching AFL, walking his dog or attempting to surf.

Sam Cobourn

General Physiotherapist

Sam is a graduate physiotherapist joining the Sports & Spinal team. Sam grew up in the beautiful town of Port Macquarie where he studied at Charles Sturt University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Distinction, Sam made the move up to the Sunshine Coast where he now calls home.

Sam believes that everyone deserves to live a prosperous, healthy lifestyle where they are able to move well and pain-free whilst participating in activities that are meaningful to the individual. This starts with a thorough assessment, closely followed by a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses not only the symptoms but the root cause of the problem to ensure long-lasting results.

Outside of physio, Sam has an extensive martial arts background where he has instructed and competed at an international level representing Australia in both Russia and China. He enjoys an active lifestyle, loves the outdoors and won’t say no to a good time.

Belinda Fribence

Exercise Physiologist

Belinda Fribence has Graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology on top of her degree in Bachelor of Exercise Science. As well as this, Belinda is a full member of Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).

Belinda’s passion in the field of Exercise Physiology is driven by her past as a competitive athlete in the world of Track and Field and sustaining carer changing injuries. As a result, she has become driven to provide holistic care with the aim of helping individuals regain their mobility and functionality as well as improving the methods of injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Working closely with surfers and martial art athletes as well as being one herself she has developed a key passion in improving the longevity and mobility of joints, particularly in the hips. Working with the body in a 360-degree approach is a personal goal of hers and is aiming to build upon her knowledge and expertise in this field.

Caitlyn Mann

Caitlyn completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane. Caitlyn has additional experience having been a Sports Trainer for the Pine Rivers Netball Association. Caitlyn has undertaken additional training and is a GLA:D® Registered Physiotherapist; delivering the best evidence-based management for hip and knee osteoarthritis. She is also one of our Physiotherapists who treats vertigo!

Caitlyn strives to provide optimal patient-centred care for all of her patients through her diligent, committed and compassionate approach. Caitlyn’s practice is a foundation derived from her appreciating the importance that every patient is unique; therefore, she utilises holistic care and collaborates with patients to individualise treatments to maximise patient outcomes.

Vidal Corte-Real

Vidal graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours from Griffith University in Brisbane. Raised in Brisbane, Vidal jumped at the opportunity for a change of scenery and moved to the Fraser Coast and to join the Sports and Spinal team in Hervey Bay. Vidal has a passion for tailoring exercise programs that allow his clients to achieve to their individual goals.

Vidal has a keen interest in sporting injuries and worked closely with many local sporting clubs alongside his studies. Vidal has also developed an interest in the field of major injury recovery. His paper exploring this topic is being published later this year, and he has been invited to present his work at the Australian Physiotherapy Conference.

In his spare time, Vidal enjoys exploring the great outdoors, visiting family and friends, and supporting the Denver Nuggets in the NBA.

Bree Regan

Exercise Physiologist

Bree is a new graduate from the University of Southern Queensland and graduated with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise majoring in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Majoring in Clinical Exercise Physiology. 

Bree has always lived a busy and active lifestyle, mainly through gymnastics, swimming, athletics, dancing and cheerleading. Some of which she continues to enjoy to this day. She also enjoys a regular walk at the beach or in the bush and a good TV show or movie to watch. 

Bree loves that exercise can be a fun and social way to improve our health and wellbeing for the short and long term and enjoys watching her client’s confidence grow quickly over time. Exercise can also be something that we share with our friends and family and does not need to be hard or a chore to be rewarding. Bree enjoys getting to know my clients, which helps her assist them as an individual and as a whole person to give them exercise plans that are best suited for their individual needs. Bree’s aim as an Exercise Physiologist is to help her clients reach their health and fitness goals and beyond so that they can live long happy, healthy and active lives.

Ray Watts

Remedial Massage Therapist

In 2014, Ray completed her Cert IV in Massage Therapy Practice at Endeavour College. In 2017, Ray completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage.
Ray has a friendly nature and aims to create positive change in people’s lives through their health and wellbeing.
Ray believes in a holistic approach to a person’s health and wellbeing, so she uses a combination of remedial and relaxation techniques during a typical massage treatment, including Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Deep Tissue Massage.
Ray also offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage to assist the client’s lymphatic system and decrease oedema. Ray’s further study includes Craniosacral Therapy, Chapman’s Reflexes, oncology massage, and treatment techniques for TMJ disorders.
Outside of work, Ray enjoys spending time with her children, aged 11 to 22. Ray has always been involved with coordinating playgroups, mothers’ groups, kindy committees and school committees to give them a sense of community and show them how important it is to be involved in social networks.

Ben Bowering

Exercise Physiologist

Combining a love for exercise and a desire to help people, Ben dove straight into the studies of Exercise Physiology and through his experience has further cultivated a passion for Musculoskeletal and Neurological rehabilitation. Graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, he gained the skills and knowledge to guide people through their recovery, getting them back to what they love doing. Ben believes in a person-centred approach to rehabilitation, ensuring all individuals are listened to and involved in curating their treatment plan.

Ben is fortunate enough to be a lifelong local of the Sunshine Coast and has participated in most sports and activities the region has to offer. When he’s not working, you can find Ben out in the surf, on the golf course perfecting his swing, or in the kitchen testing new recipes.

Simon Coghlan

Shoulder & Spine Physiotherapist

Simon has over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapy clinician, educator, and clinic owner. He has worked in private sports physiotherapy clinics, with professional rugby and cricket teams, in public and private hospital departments and universities and has run his private practice.

Simon graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 2000 and completed an MSc in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from University College Dublin, Ireland, in 2008.

In 2009 Simon completed the British Medical Acupuncture Society’s Diploma in Medical Acupuncture & Dry Needling. He is an accredited member and chair of the society’s Competence, Accreditation and Examining Board.

In 2018, Simon qualified as a Certified Health Coach, which has provided him with greater knowledge regarding the role of lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, and sleep on physical health, mental health, and pain management.

In 2021, Simon completed the Yale School of Management’s Certificate in Healthcare Management with the intention of further developing his management and leadership skills in a private physiotherapy setting.

Simon uses a Functional Integrated Physiotherapy approach that combines the best, most effective, and scientifically validated techniques derived from manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, medical acupuncture & dry needling, electrotherapeutics, and pain neuroscience education. He specialises in the treatment of shoulder and spinal pain conditions.

Grace Lobegeier

Grace graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) degree. She has a developing interest in mental health and metabolic conditions whereby when completing her degree wrote a paper for her thesis on the benefits of exercise on mental health.

Grace is always looking for ways to further improve her knowledge and enhance her client-centred care approach. She works alongside patients wherever they are at on their health journey and applies evidence-based practice to ensure the best outcomes possible.

Anita Seymour

Exercise Physiologist

Anita is a new graduate exercise physiologist from the local University of the Sunshine Coast. Anita studied exercise physiology to combine her two passions of exercise and helping people.

If not at work Anita can usually be found out with her dog at the beach, camping or chasing waterfalls on hiking trails. She is also heavily involved in local touch rugby league competitions.

Anita has a huge interest in living a healthy well-rounded lifestyle both physically and mentally, which she tries to recognise within each client’s session. Anita is motivated to help others achieve their goals in an individualised manner.

Elise Wild-Smith

Exercise Physiologist

Elise graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the Queensland University of Technology. During her final semester of university, Elise started working as a therapist within paediatrics focusing on neurological conditions. Additionally, Elise has completed training in mat work pilates and exercise oncology.

Elise is very passionate about the positive impact of physical activity on health and well-being, which is evident in her love of leading an active and balanced lifestyle. Outside of her role as an Exercise Physiologist, Elise enjoys challenging herself with her gym training, going to the beach and finding the best gluten-free eats.

Elise understands that physical activity will look different for everyone and believes in the importance of facilitating holistic, individual and achievable interventions. Elise endeavours to provide the highest level of care, service, and safety to her clients to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Dylan Prescott

Exercise Physiologist

Dylan graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of the Sunshine Coast and was excited to return to his hometown of the Fraser Coast to further his career. With experience working as an athletic development coach with a Level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning qualification, Dylan has a keen interest in sports rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injuries and is passionate about providing a high level of patient-centred care through using exercise as medicine.

On his days off, Dylan enjoys playing a wide variety of sports, as well as camping and four-wheel driving with his family and friends.

Brooke Clark

Physiotherapist

Brooke graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours. Her research project explored sports-related concussions within Rugby in NZ, and she has an interest in sports physiotherapy. She has recently moved across the ditch and is excited to live on the coast in a sunnier climate.

Brooke is passionate about helping people to regain function so they are able to enjoy active lifestyles. Growing up in a very active family, Brooke knows the importance of reaching those fitness goals and not letting injuries be a barrier to movement.

Brooke has many interests outside of the clinic, including surf lifesaving, dance, netball, running, walking, and spending time at the beach.

Tim Low

Tim graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), with his research investigating sports injuries in adolescent rugby union players.
Tim has an interest in sports injuries and has a strong sporting background himself, growing up playing Rugby League, Rugby Union and Touch Football. Tim is motivated to provide the best possible care to his clients and help them achieve their health and fitness goals.
Tim is passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and enjoys strength and conditioning training, cycling, hiking, and playing social sport. On the weekend, he loves catching up with family and friends, watching sport, a good movie or reading a book to relax.

Gema Greasley

Physiotherapist

Gema joins the Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy team with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University. Gema has completed additional training in mat work/ reformer Pilates, women’s pelvic health, and women’s health through the life stages. Gema is also a recognised trainer with the Australian Football League Women’s (AFLW) Brisbane Lions team.

Gema’s interests include spinal, shoulder & lower limb conditions, women’s pelvic health conditions, and antenatal and postnatal care.

Gema is passionate about empowering each individual to play an important role in their health journey. Gema acknowledges the uniqueness of each individual and believes this is crucial in developing individualised treatment plans. She is determined to get people to their optimal level of function so they can get back to what they love and enjoy doing – pain-free. She recognises the importance of a tailored exercise program combined with a hands-on approach for long-term management. Gema is invested in her patient’s health journeys and works strongly in collaboration with them to ensure their specific goals are achieved.

Annaliese Van Schouwen

Physiotherapist

Annaliese is a registered APA physiotherapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Griffith University, having received the Griffith Award for Academic excellence for each year of her studies. Growing up, Annaliese admired how her grandmother, who has 52 years of experience as a physiotherapist, was able to use her knowledge and skills to help others. Annaliese has experience working with Indigenous communities in locations such as Wondai, Kingaroy and Cherbourg, and hopes to continue this in the future. Annaliese aims to help patients achieve their individualised goals through education, hands-on treatment and home-based exercise programs. She hopes to deliver an optimal standard of care to her patients to help them achieve their goals and get them back to the things that they enjoy.
Annaliese is very passionate about movement and exercise, and their influence not only on physical health but also mental health. Motion is lotion! Outside of the clinic, Annaliese enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, travelling, and going to the beach.

Kim Wright

Physiotherapist

Kimberley graduated in 2021 from Griffith University with a Master of Physiotherapy after having completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University in 2019. With many years of experience in a sport predominantly in the field of swimming at both club and state levels, she experienced an injury that required intensive rehabilitation. The injury and subsequent rehabilitation required for recovery, set in motion a fascination with how the human body works and the importance of rehabilitation post-injury. Kimberley is a qualified reformer Pilates instructor with a passion for incorporating Pilates into exercise programs to improve one’s health and wellbeing. Kimberley is interested in musculoskeletal, neurological and sports physiotherapy.

Outside of work, Kimberley enjoys the beach, chasing waterfalls, spending time with family and friends and taking reformer Pilates classes for her own health and wellbeing.

Olivia Bahr

Physiotherapist

Olivia grew up in Albury on the NSW/VIC border, where she completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy studies. Additionally, Olivia has recently completed training with DMA Clinical Pilates.

Olivia’s overall aim is to facilitate individuals in getting back to what they love doing, by creating management plans in collaboration with the client. Olivia enjoys using a combination of hands-on therapy, education and exercises prescription to ensure every client is achieving their goals.

In her spare time, Olivia has always been involved in a variety of sports including; swimming, water polo, netball and running. Olivia has also volunteered her time with local AFL teams providing game-day assistance and has developed a keen interest in the prevention and management of sporting injuries.

Having recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast, Olivia is looking forward to meeting friendly faces and getting to know the area.

Kyle McGrath

Growing up in Maryborough Queensland, Kyle completed his studies in Brisbane, graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours. Kyle brings a strong knowledge of exercise prescription having also completed a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Queensland and is committed to providing quality patient-centred care.

Kyle has a passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pain management. He believes in taking the time with patients to listen to their concerns and provide useful education that empowers them to get back to living the lives they want to lead!

Outside of the clinic, Kyle loves hiking and exploring the outdoors. He enjoys playing volleyball and soccer and spends his weekends cheering on the Parramatta Eels in the footy.

Roisin Fradd

Physiotherapist

Roisin graduated from ACU in Ballarat, VIC and is now a Sunshine Coast local. Roisin thoroughly enjoys private practice and looks forward to working with a wide variety of patients.
Roisin grew up in Victoria, playing netball and being a competitive rower.
She has a special interest in preventing and managing sports injuries after being involved in this area. When treating patients, Roisin has a firm view that the best results are found when the patient is at the centre of the care and in control of their rehabilitation/treatment pathway.
Outside of work, Roisin enjoys exploring the Sunshine Coast, getting outdoors and being in the water as much as possible.

Leilani Siamoa

Physiotherapist

Leilani graduated from Australian Catholic University (ACU) – Ballarat and recently made the move up to the Sunshine Coast. As well as physiotherapy, Leilani also completed her Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science.

Having played semi-professional level basketball since the age of 15, Leilani is well aware of the impact that injuries can have on our bodies, both physically and mentally.

Leilani has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries and neurological physiotherapy and is passionate about promoting an active lifestyle and helping all achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Leilani loves being outdoors, adventuring waterfalls with friends, and being the number 1 supporter of the Western Bulldogs.

Rod Carroll

Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist

Rod has been in the industry extensively and brings with him experience in sports, remedial and trigger point therapy. Rod is also experienced in reflexology and pregnancy massage.

Rod believes in the systematic assessment and treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management caused by sports and work-related injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation and general soreness from a wide variety of activities and postures.

Before any treatment begins, Rod carries out a thorough client consultation and assessment.
Rod listens to clients and works on the areas that require attention, applying the relevant and appropriate treatment to create favourable conditions for the body to return to normal health.

In his spare time, Rod enjoys surfing, swimming, running, and AFL Umpiring.

Having had professional coaching in triathlons (all disciplines) Rod has a good understanding of the sports-related issues and injuries that can occur and can assist to analyze and offer remediation.

Landon Inglis

Physiotherapist

Landon graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies having previously completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science. He believes in a holistic, individualised approach to treatment and is very passionate about working together with the patient to help them achieve their goals. His prior experience working in the exercise industry has helped to shape his belief in the importance of movement and exercise as a form of rehabilitation.

He has worked with runners and Australian Rules Footballers previously, and continues to do so, however enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions.

Outside of work, Landon enjoys training and competing in running and triathlon events, and loves a trivia night. Landon has recently moved to the coast to further enjoy the lifestyle it provides.

Emma Doyle

Physiotherapist

Emma grew up in Melbourne but relocated to New Zealand to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago. She decided to move back to Australia after graduating, seeking out the warmer weather on the Sunshine Coast.

Emma is passionate about getting people back to living their best lives. However, that looks for the individual. She works with her clients to establish meaningful goals, and together they strive to achieve them.

Emma enjoys training for triathlons, rock climbing, and exploring the local area in her spare time.

Kim Goei

Running, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Kim was born and raised on the West coast, completing her Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Australia. She has a kind, gentle manner with patients, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care.

During her training, Kim gained valuable experience in Singapore working alongside podiatrists from other countries including the UK, South Africa and New Zealand. After completing her degree, Kim worked in private practice in WA and Victoria before being drawn to the beautiful coastline and hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.

Kim has completed advanced musculoskeletal training with Dr Paul Conneely in the areas of Dry Needling & Foot Mobilisations to aid in the management of lower limb dysfunction. Kim is proficient in delivering all aspects of podiatry care including General Care, Nail Surgery, Sports Injuries and Diabetic Management.

After studying at the Endeavour College of Natural Health in Brisbane, Tallara spent the last five years working at multidisciplinary clinics in central London as a Sports Massage Therapist, learning from the best in the industry. Tallara’s down-to-earth nature and reputation for giving consistently thorough massages have helped a diverse range of people. She loves treating headaches, complex shoulder issues and nagging hip pain to support over-workers, pregnant people and weekend warriors. Pat Graduated from Q Academy Brisbane with a Diploma of Remedial Massage in September 2017. Pat has since expanded his clinical knowledge by continuing his professional education after completing his Diploma.
A highlight of Pat’s carer was being a member of the medical team at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Pat has worked alongside Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and Myotherapist.
Pat uses various Remedial techniques in his treatments, including Cupping, Dry Needling, Trigger Point Release, Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofascial Release, Rock blades Massage Tools, Deep Tissue Work and Relaxation Massages.
Pat likes to road cycle and loves going to the Gym. Pat also loves getting away for long weekends with his two dogs and camper trailer. In his downtime, you can catch him volunteering his time as a Motorsport Fire and Rescue office. Rachael Gilholm

Women's Health, Diabetes, Chronic Disease Management Dietitian

Rachael Gilholm is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sunshine Coast. Since graduation, Rachael has had experience in working within both public hospitals and within the community setting. Rachael is very excited to be transitioning into the private practice space. Rachael is passionate about supporting individuals to reach their health and nutrition goals. Rachael prides herself on optimizing an individual’s health and wellbeing through nutrition therapy and understands that food and nutrition mean so much more than just what we eat. Food brings people together and joy into our lives and for that reason, Rachael aims to work with our clients to make realistic and sustainable changes. Rachael has a special interest in, overweight and obesity, chronic disease management and Women’s health.

Edward Hayes-Woods

Knee & Sports Physiotherapist

Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Eddie began studying Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2014 and completed his degree in 2017. As a new graduate, he worked in the hospital setting, completing rotations through a rehabilitation ward, outpatient services, general medicine and general surgery.

Eddie made the move to private practice in 2019, his new role allowed him to develop as a clinician through mentorship with experienced physiotherapists. Eddie eventually took over the clinic’s programme for post-operative knee rehabilitation, this allowed for significant exposure to a range of knee conditions, especially ACL ruptures.

Eddie has worked as team physio for several rugby teams. He applies his own experience as a competitive runner and football (soccer) player to understand the demands on these athletes and effectively treat injuries while managing the person as well.

In his spare time Eddie can be found bouldering at the local climbing gym, cycling, swimming, running or strength training. Having explored New Zealand extensively and backpacked his way around South America, Eddie is looking forward to seeing all that Australia has to offer as well!

Shannon Chilman

Exercise Physiologist

Shannon is an exercise physiologist with a special interest in women’s health and adolescent athletics. Originally from the USA, she has completed her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training and Master’s in Exercise and Sports Medicine where she spent 2 years working with collegiate sports rehabilitation. Most recently, she has received her Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Australian Catholic University in Brisbane.

Shannon has cultivated a holistic approach to helping others achieve their goals. She understands enjoying a healthy lifestyle means you have to acknowledge the whole person: body, mind and spirit. She also believes exercise should not be boring and strives to make each session fun and engaging.

Shannon has been on the Sunshine Coast for the last 6 years and enjoys spending her time cooking as well as hiking the local trails.

Callum Smith

Physiotherapist

Callum completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2017 and has since been working in private practice in Brisbane and more recently on the Sunshine Coast. Callum enjoys meeting clients from all walks of life. He takes pride in tailoring treatment plans to fit each individual’s lifestyle and goals. A key philosophy Callum strives to practice, is taking the time to get to know the person in front of him and incorporate their input into their own rehabilitation. Callum enjoys seeing all manner of injuries and conditions and has completed advanced courses in the management of pelvic/low back pain and the injured shoulder. Ashley Vincent

Musculoskeletal & Women's Health Physiotherapist

Ashley completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University and has since spent over 5 years working in private practices across Brisbane, rural NSW and recently returned home to the Sunshine Coast.
Ashley has experience treating an array of musculoskeletal conditions, including low back pain, post-operative rehabilitation, acute sporting injuries and dance injuries, given her 16-year competitive dance background.
Ashley has training in western acupuncture and dry needling, sports physiotherapy and all forms of pilates.
She has also completed post-graduate training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy enabling her to treat various pelvic floor conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and all things pre and postnatal. She has a passion for helping women achieve a healthy and happy quality of life.
Ashley is enthusiastic about providing a holistic approach to patient-centred care and providing tailored, evidence-based exercise programs to create long term management for her patients.

Kurt Kidman

Exercise Physiologist

Kurt completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2018 at the Australian Catholic University. Since this time, Kurt has been working in injury prevention, Kurt has developed a passion for treating injuries whilst helping prevent them and improve the client’s quality of life. From this passion, Kurt gained entry into a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the Australian Catholic University, which he has since completed.

During Kurt’s placement, he worked with a wide variety of clinical conditions and from this, Kurt has developed further interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and metabolic conditions. Outside of work, Kurt plays Beach Volleyball and has played numerous sports in the past, including A.F.L, Rugby Union and Indoor Netball.

Robert Fischer

Robbie graduated from Griffith University with a Masters of Physiotherapy following a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 2018.

Robbie has a deep passion for musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy. In conjunction with Sports & Spinal, he is determined and excited to develop these passions further, allowing him to provide the best patient-centred care for all his clients. Through the combination of individualised exercise prescription, best evidence-based practice, and goal-oriented sessions, he intends to provide a quality service to his clients and significantly improve their quality of life.

Robbie has grown up on the Gold Coast and has been heavily involved in Surf Lifesaving which is where he developed his passion for community involvement and improvement.

Caitlin is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who prides herself on focusing on her clients as a whole person and understands there is so much more to an individual than just what they eat. Since graduating with her Bachelor of Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Caitlin has developed her interest in gut health, vegetarian and vegan nutrition, oncology, and chronic disease management.

Caitlin is passionate about making a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle by supporting her clients to create achievable and realistic changes in line with their goals. She uses a non-judgemental, friendly and tailored approach with her care, as she understands that it can be daunting opening up to someone about your health concerns and what you eat.

When she isn’t working, Caitlin enjoys exploring the Sunshine Coast by getting outside to go for walks or hikes, to the beach for a swim, or painting at home.

Claire has completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra and enjoys working with patients to achieve their goals. Since graduating, she has worked in practice treating a variety of problems. Her treatment techniques include dry needling, massage/manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education. Claire is passionate about furthering her knowledge to improve patient care and has a keen interest in Women’s Health. Claire can currently treat pre-and post-natal musculoskeletal pain, bladder incontinence, return to exercise/class screening (including internal assessments). Destiny Fountain

Remedial Massage Therapist

Destiny is a Remedial Massage Therapist who enjoys incorporating various techniques into your treatments to ensure the best possible relief of your symptoms. Such methods may include cupping, passive stretches, trigger point, and myofascial therapy. Before your session, these are always discussed to clarify your needs and help tailor your customised treatment plan.

Since completing her remedial massage diploma in 2018 in Melbourne, Destiny has undergone specialised training in various modalities such as special needs (pediatric and palliative), pregnancy massage, reflexology, and aromatherapy. She loves a challenge and quenches her ongoing thirst for knowledge at the University of Queensland to narrow her focus to advanced treatments in the sports industry. Destiny joined our team in July 2021 and held an associate membership with Massage and Myotherapy Australia.

Chari Stewart

Sports Physiotherapist

Chari is an APA Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Otago in NZ, then went on to complete her Sports Physiotherapy Masters at the University of Queensland in 2012. Realising early in her career how important exercise prescription was in managing her clients and athletes, Chari completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science majoring in Physical Conditioning in 2009.

Chari has spent most of her career working in private practice and with various rugby teams from schoolboy to elite. More notably, she was a Physiotherapist at Rugby 7s during the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and has consulted and travelled with QLD Reds Rugby, QAS Rugby 7s, and Rugby AU.

Chari is currently working part-time at the University of Queensland as a Clinical Educator in the Musculoskeletal & Sports Injury Clinic. In this role, she facilitates the transition from theory to clinical practice for the final year Physiotherapy students.

Sarah Brown

Dietitian

Sarah is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, completing her Bachelor of Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Sarah enjoys meeting and working with new people and has a passion for supporting people achieve their goals through a client-centred approach, encouraging sustainable eating behaviours and using evidence-based practice. Sarah’s special interest areas include weight management, oncology, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and gastrointestinal health.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys roller skating, spending time with family and friends and taking her two German Shepards for a walk.

Nicholas Roth

Nicholas graduated from QUT in 2015. Nicholas previously worked in Far North Queensland and on the Sunshine Coast; he relocated to the Gold Coast in 2021 with his wonderful wife and daughter. Nicholas enjoys all things outdoors, and his favourite sport is soccer, where he has played interstate and overseas. On the weekends, he loves fishing, camping and visiting the beautiful beaches all along the Coast. Nicholas has a particular interest in Sports Biomechanics, Paediatric Podiatry and complex caseloads. He is kind and passionate about helping his patients achieve their goals and using the motto “prevention is better than cure” to get there.

Luke Rogers

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Luke is an experienced podiatrist who has been operating in private practice for over 14 years, with 2 years of rural experience with Queensland Health. Luke volunteered for several years with the Queensland Podiatry Board and was appointed president in 2017, providing insight and experience at an industry body level. This combination of experience and study has led him to gain a strong reputation as a caring and trustworthy practitioner.
Luke has comprehensive experience in podiatry and enjoys all aspects, from mechanical assessment and sports injuries to ingrown nails and plantar warts. Luke likes fixing feet problems. In addition to his Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) at QUT, Luke also has a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, which talks to his interest in sport-related injury management and prevention. Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Luke has an inherent love for sports, camping and the outdoors. He is a keen golfer and enjoys helping to coach his children’s soccer teams.

Bianca Mazoletti

Exercise Physiologist

Bianca graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology after completing her studies at the Queensland University of Technology. Bianca has a developing clinical interest in women’s health and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Alongside completing university, Bianca received certificates for both Pilates reformer and matt work courses. Bianca wishes to combine her Pilates experience and resistance training into her exercise prescription to help musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Bianca is motivated to help improve the quality of life for her patients and is passionate about assisting them through their exercise journey.

Outside of the clinic, Bianca has a passion for a healthy lifestyle herself. However, she does love her coffee and Sunday brunches.

Kirra Womersley

Exercise Physiologist

Kirra graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) at the University of Queensland.  Kirra is passionate about exercise physiology but has a special interest in neurological, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Since moving on from elite track and field in 2016, Kirra has continued her passion for physical activity.  She is committed to patient-centred care and finds it incredibly rewarding to work alongside clients to achieve goals that may never have seemed possible.  Kirra is passionate about the widespread benefits of exercise and is committed to finding an activity to suit everyone.

When Kirra is not at the clinic, you can find her bouldering or researching the latest running shoes.

Tim Dunstone

Sports Physiotherapist

Tim Dunstone gained his initial physiotherapy qualification in Adelaide from the renowned School of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia. He worked in Adelaide in both private practice and onsite in the industrial setting (in the automotive industry) for a few years. Tim served the profession’s peak association, the Australian Physiotherapy Association, on the SA Branch Council for four years.
Tim then moved to Sydney and completed two masters degrees in sports and manipulative physiotherapy and taught musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. He conducted some biomechanical research into low back injuries in elite rowers in the School of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Sydney for three years. He was the Dean of St Andrew’s College within the University of Sydney for eight years and Dean of St John’s College within the University of Queensland for four years.
Tim rowed and coxed to a national level with the Adelaide Rowing Club. He has since coached rowing to an elite level with the South Australian Sports Institute, the Sydney University Rowing Club, Wilderness School and the first eight at Scotch College in Adelaide. He has recently coached rowing for the last five years at the UQ Boat Club.
In his spare time, Tim enjoyed singing with the Sydney Philharmonia Choir for eight years, who are the resident chorus for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, frequently performing in the Sydney Opera House. His performances with the Sydney Philharmonia included a tour of the UK in 2010, singing Maher’s 8th at the Royal Albert Hall on the opening night of the BBC Proms Series, in addition to concerts at Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral and Australia House.
He has been the physiotherapist for elite soccer, cricket and rowing teams, and has more than seventeen years of private practice clinical experience. Tim is one of only 201 physiotherapists in Australia, who are dual titled members of the APA, as both an APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and an APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. In 2020 Tim was made a Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists. He is also a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) for the State of Queensland. Tim is married with two young daughters.

Bethany completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours at the University of Queensland. Bethany strives to act in a compassionate, positive, and encouraging way and loves getting to know new people.

In her leisure time, Bethany enjoys playing touch football and volleyball, climbing mountains, beach swims, and sunset picnics.

Alexander Young

Zoe Divall

Neck, Headaches & Vestibular Physiotherapist

Zoe graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. She has a passion for improving people’s lives through evidence-based effective treatment modalities focusing on patient-centred goals and long term outcomes. 

Zoe continues to do her extra training and ongoing professional development in neck/headache and vestibular treatments. Zoe creates treatment plans that aim to have you back to doing the things you love in a way that is realistic and has your goals at the core.

Zoe has always lived a very active lifestyle; is heavily involved with the local Surf Life Saving Club, and enjoys yoga, touch football and tennis. Zoe’s interest in a healthy lifestyle and general well-being will provide clients with a holistic treatment approach.

Mitch completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hon) at Central Queensland University and has since enjoyed what working in private practice has to offer.

Mitch enjoys working closely with patients to give them control of their own rehabilitation and to reach their individual goals. He listens to his patients to ensure that he provides holistic health care to them. Since being in private practice, Mitch has undertaken extra coursework on the best management of various running injuries & has a particular interest area in lower limb musculoskeletal injuries. He has also recently undertaken certification to offer the GLA:D program; the best evidence management for hip & knee osteoarthritis. Mitch has been working alongside the Sunshine Coast Orthopaedic group to provide pre-operative education sessions for those undergoing hip and knee replacement surgeries.

Mitch looks forward to working closely with patients to help them achieve their goals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending his Saturdays on the cricket field and using every opportunity to experience the great outdoors.

Corey Prior

Shoulder & Lower Limb Physiotherapist
Corey joined the Chermside Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy team after studying both Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy at Griffith University. He has a strong interest in the human body and spent 3 years tutoring university students in anatomy. He is passionate about diagnosing the correct condition and delving further into identifying the true cause of somebody’s pain.
Corey is a Level 1 CrossFit coach and is an expert in the lower back, hip, knee and shoulder pain. He prides himself on keeping his patients active through the initial phases of injury and develops long term solutions for his clients. Corey provides practical solutions to technical movement considerations often missed.
Corey addresses his patients problems in a systematic ordered approach that looks at the whole person and is the primary contributor to the popular LVLUP online blog.

Outside of physiotherapy and coaching, Corey is passionately working on his own training and progressions. Corey also enjoys Sunday morning coffees and walks with his miniature dachshund, Sadie.

Aidan has a passion for post-operative conditions. He has experience in both pre and post-rehab care and is dedicated to getting you back to what you love post-surgery.

He is also interested in sports injuries. Aidan has participated in many sports including surf lifesaving, running, surfing and CrossFit which gives him a unique perspective of the specific demands of different sports.

Steve trained in the UK, qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 2002. He initially worked in the UK national health system for 6 yrs and then moved back to NZ to run his own clinic for 13yrs. Steve has an extensive background in the health and fitness industry after gaining an Advanced Certificate in Exercise Science in 1992 and worked as a fitness instructor for over 10 years in Auckland and London.

Steve has been qualified in Acupuncture and Pilates since 2006. Steve has completed post-graduate training in Watson Headache Method, Manipulative Therapy Techniques, Dry Needling, Myofascial Massage, and trained in Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Steve believes in functional training and getting to the cause of your problems, leading to a longer-lasting and more effective long-term result. Steve’s goal is to get you better than you were pre-injury/operation.

Jamie has an interest in Sports Physiotherapy and plans to complete postgraduate studies in this area.

Cara Niven

Lymphedema/General Physiotherapist

Cara completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane. Since leaving university, she has gained experience in many areas of physiotherapy, including musculoskeletal, chronic pain, pilates, orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory and neurological rehabilitation.

Cara has also undergone further study for the treatment of Lymphoedema and is a qualified Australasian Lymphology Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner. She is qualified to treat Lymphoedema in the upper and lower limbs, breasts, genitals, trunk, abdomen, and paediatrics. Her treatment involves manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, exercise prescription and education. Cara can also treat and prescribe garments for other conditions such as chronic venous insufficiency and lipoedema. 

Cara decided she wanted a career in physiotherapy at a very young age. As an avid soccer player, her interest was sparked by the care and support she herself received from physiotherapists for injuries she sustained on the soccer field. Cara understands what it is like to have an injury and knows how it can affect an individual physically, socially and emotionally. Karis graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University, Townsville at the end of 2020. Karis initially grew up in Cairns before starting her next journey on the Fraser Coast to see what it has to offer. Clint is a qualified Sports Physiotherapist with extensive private practice experience and a background in elite sporting environments. Since graduating in 2006 Clint has worked in private practices specialising in shoulder and knee injuries. Over the past four years, he has held a senior physiotherapist position with the Brisbane Lions. Prior to this Clint has worked with both the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Sydney Roosters with their NRL squads. Clint’s current interests involve a research project investigating the size of lower back muscles in elite athletes and the prevention of injury. When not working Clint enjoys surfing down the coast and spending time with his family.

Podiatrist – Areas Treated: Foot, Ankle, Knee, Toenail Care

Tom completed a Bachelor of Podiatry with the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. Since leaving university, he has gained interest and extensive experience in podiatric sporting injuries, biomechanics, chronic lower limb pain, paediatrics and neurological conditions while always looking to learn more. Tom has a special interest in diabetic care and education which he is currently undertaking further study in. His treatment is always provided according to the most recent research and aims to provide each patient with the best possible care that he can. Tom employs several treatment modalities according to each individual patient and their goals including hands-on soft tissue work, dry needling, taping/strapping, exercise prescription and education to name a few.

During school and university, Tom spent some time working with running footwear, specifically ASICS and has been actively involved in playing soccer, tennis and completed athletics up to a state-level on multiple occasions. Tom is a keen traveller spending a year in Europe and some time in Nepal volunteering and completing the Everest base camp trek. Tom also enjoys snowboarding when he can.

 

Harris Johnston

Harris’s passion & focus remains on helping patients maintaining an active lifestyle whilst managing their acute or chronic injuries to regain their optimal level of function. Whether that be getting them back onto the sporting field, returning to the gym, back to work or just returning to be able to perform their usual daily regime.

Harris has a strong passion for a hands-on approach to his treatment and utilises various treatment modalities to achieve a positive outcome for his patients. Harris also loves implementing a structured rehabilitation program and preventative strategies to reduce the risk of re-injury, along with tailored stretches and exercises to help reduce pain and flare-ups.

Harris has completed additional courses focusing on neck pain, with most recently completing his introductory and advanced course on Vestibular Rehabilitation to provide the best outcomes for his dizzy/vertigo patients. Harris plans to continue learning & developing within this aspect of physiotherapy with him due to complete additional courses on jaw pain & headaches in early 2022.

Holly graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University in Townsville. Peter is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Sports Dietitian (AccSD) who is passionate about a client-centred approach to nutrition; tailoring advice and plans to the individual.

With a background in sport science and an extensive history of cycling, Peter enjoys fine-tuning the nutrition plans of all cyclists and is currently the consulting Dietitian to the QAS cycling squad. Madison has extensive experience in helping people overcome chronic pain obstacles on their way to improving their quality of life and is a firm believer that with the right approach, anything is possible when you put your mind to it. He has been involved in numerous sporting teams, including UQ Rugby Football Club, Toowong Football Club, UQ Swimming Club, and a physiotherapist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast. Tom also spends time teaching in the physiotherapy program at the University of Queensland.

Tom is passionate about exercise. He loves getting people back into exercise and sport, with a keen interest in running and swimming. His exercise science and strength and conditioning background have allowed him to bring a mixture of hands-on and exercise prescription skills to his physio work. Paul has lead physiotherapy services for St George Rugby League and the University of Queensland Red Heavies Rugby Union – while also enjoying some ‘guest appearances’ for the Brisbane Lions. Simran Shah

Simran joined Chermside Sports and Spinal after several years of working under close supervision with some of Queensland’s leading physiotherapists. In Brisbane, Simran works closely with some of the country’s leading hip, knee and ankle surgeons. She holds a Bachelor in Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland and is currently studying for her masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Simran has developed a particular interest in knee and ankle injuries and uses a mixed approach of hands-on therapy and tailored exercise prescription to ensure that each of her patients achieves their goals. Mark is a Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. He is a member of Sports Medicine Australia and a member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists. He has extensive experience working with athletes at an elite and everyday level. He has worked as a physiotherapist at the Sydney Olympic Games and Melbourne and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. He has a passion for rugby and, in the past, has been a physio for NSW Country, Queensland Country, Australian Women’s team and currently Australian Stockmen.

Marina Melnikoff

Musculoskeletal & Women's Health Physiotherapist

Marina has completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with first-class honours. She has since gained knowledge and experience in a range of areas for musculoskeletal injuries, TMJ treatment and dry needling.
Over the years, Marina has also pursued post-graduate courses in Women’s and pelvic health. She can treat a range of conditions including bladder and bowel dysfunctions, pelvic organ prolapse, pre and post-natal treatment, pessary fitting, pelvic pain syndromes, and pelvic girdle pain.

Most recently, Montana completed her Level 1 Women’s Pelvic Health course and is on track to complete Level 2 in 2022. She is enjoying seeing Women’s Health patients in the clinic and takes a weekly Pre/Postnatal Pilates class. She has also recently completed NOI group explain pain course, enabling her to work with more complex pain conditions.

Marina has an extensive background in different sporting fields such as gymnastics, powerlifting and CrossFit. She believes in helping people stick with the training they enjoy and educating them on effective injury prevention strategies. She enjoys living an active outdoor lifestyle, including spending time by the beach, diving, and running with her energetic Border Collie.

Montana Morrison

Physiotherapist

Montana completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in her hometown of Townsville before relocating to the Sunshine Coast in 2019. Driven by a passion for enhancing movement and kicking goals, Montana believes every individual requires a unique and holistic approach to ensure successful outcomes.

Montana has a clinical interest in complex presentations and persistent pain, as well as lower limb rehabilitation. With considerable changes in the management of chronic pain over the years, there is a critical role for physiotherapy and non-medical management. With training in the complex field of chronic pain management, Montana will deliver evidence-based treatment and give you the tools to strive for improved function.

Outside of work, Montana enjoys an active lifestyle, often participating in hikes and treks, and enjoys time at the gym. Overall, the beach is where you will find her when she is not in the clinic, attempting to master surfing.

Sam Moyle

Lower Back & Spinal Rehab Physiotherapist

Physiotherapy was a natural career choice for Sam, having competed at a high level in track and field, cricket, touch football and Australian Rules Football. He realised the impact of strong physical health and its impact on physical and emotional wellbeing.

Sam graduated from the University of Queensland with first-class honours and began his career in the public sector. He enjoyed gaining valuable experience in pre and post-surgery treatment protocols and excellent communication skills to provide optimum client care. Sam has worked with and learnt from some of Australia’s leading neurological physiotherapists. He used these effective skills when screening for more serious conditions to ensure his treatment plans reflect the needs of his clients.

Sam then transitioned into private practice and was able to apply his knowledge and skills working with some of Queensland’s premier cricket and football clubs.

Sam has recently returned from working in the United Kingdom. He worked as a Lead Physiotherapist in the heart of London with some of the world’s leading sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons, enhancing his theoretical and practical knowledge within this vibrant and stimulating environment. Sam developed close working relationships with acclaimed shoulder, spinal and foot/ankle surgeons, constantly learning, refining and enhancing his current practice.

Sam looks forward to bringing his knowledge and experience to Sports and Spinal and learning from his new colleagues and patients about the provision of exemplary physiotherapy care. Sam’s patients will benefit from an excellent communicator and active listener who will provide a hands-on approach to quality care and expert exercise prescription skills.

In his leisure time, Sam enjoys the outdoors. He loves to explore the South East Queensland walking tracks, and he is a keen cricketer and runner. Sam played cricket in England and is always looking to lower his 10km running PB. Sam’s overall professional goal is to provide optimum health care to all those who engage with him.

Jarrad Campbell

Jarrad graduated from Australian Catholic University (ACU) in 2019. He has developed a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and always strives to get the best outcomes for his patients. He is always open to further expanding his knowledge and expertise and will undertake further courses soon.

Having competed internationally in sprint kayaking, he knows the importance of looking after your body and the demands of training and competing well to prevent injuries.

Outside of physio, Jarrad enjoys spending time at the beach, surfing, travelling, living an active outdoors lifestyle and hanging out with friends.

Cat Egan

Physiotherapist

Cat completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with James Cook University and holds a passion for injury rehabilitation and prevention. Cat enjoys assisting her patients to decrease their pain, improve their movement and return to their work, hobbies and sports. Cat aims to enhance the quality of life of all her patients and firmly believes that movement is medicine.

Cat has worked in the health industry for the past 12 years. Cat has a unique view of the broader medical system, having previously worked at Caboolture Hospital on the surgical and medical wards. Cat has also worked in metropolitan, rural and remote areas of Queensland.

Cat has a young family, which has further ignited her interest in women’s health. Cat has completed the Australian Physiotherapy Association Introductory Women’s Health Course (Level 1).

Cat leads an active lifestyle and has competed at state, national and international events in Athletics. She is a previous two-time Oceania Champion in the Open Women’s Long Jump. Because of her sporting background, Cat understands the demands of training and competing and knows what it’s like to experience an injury and go through the rehabilitation process.

Cat has previously worked on the sidelines of many sporting events providing acute injury management to both players and spectators. Over the years events, Cat has worked at the Townsville Triathlon Festival, Cowboys Rugby League matches, the NAB AFL Cup and International Cricket Matches. Other events have included various school sports, motocross and motorsport events, rodeos and horse racing.

As well as this, Cat has worked in the aged care sector for a short time. Cat enjoyed being able to improve her elderly patient’s quality of life by using her hands-on physiotherapy skills, providing individualised exercise programs and being a friendly face for her patients to chat to. Cat now enjoys treating older patients in the clinic and always gets a kick out of seeing how much improvement her patients get from physiotherapy treatment for conditions such as osteoarthritis.

Cat has strong military ties in her family. Because of this, Cat has a vested interest in assisting the defence community and enjoys helping both current and ex-serving military personnel and their families overcome their physical injuries and improve their quality of life.

On her days off, Cat enjoys walking and running to the local park with her daughter in her pram and spending time with her Husband and those nearest and dearest to her, including her seven-year-old cocker spaniel. Cat also enjoys taking her daughter to swimming lessons and riding her mountain and road bikes, especially along the Kedron Brook Bikeway. Cat’s long-term fitness goal is to put herself out of her comfort zone and compete in a sprint triathlon.

Beth White

Remedial Massage Therapist

Beth has worked as a Remedial Massage Therapist for 10 years. She has a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Nature Care College.

Coming from Sydney, Beth worked with several chiropractic clinics supporting their clients and therapists. She is a past world champion para triathlete and has extensive experience managing high performing athletes and helping them to accelerate recovery between events.

Beth has additional training in deep tissue, trigger point therapy,  pregnancy, relaxation, and sports therapy massage modalities. Beth has managed clients recovering from spinal surgery, sports injuries, stroke and workplace rehabilitation.

Beth is a blind therapist and is supported by her guide dog Queenie. Beth has also worked with Guide Dogs in their community outreach programs, fundraising activities and as a public speaker.

Montana Waddington

Musculoskeletal & Women's Health Physiotherapist

Born and raised in Australia, Montana graduated from the University of Queensland with 1st Class Honours. Having completed her Physiotherapy degree, she went on to work in private sports and musculoskeletal practice. It was there that she further developed her knowledge and application of manual therapy and soft tissue release techniques. She also completed courses in Dry Needling and Western Acupuncture and conducted regular Mat Pilates sessions.

Montana returned from working in the UK at the end of 2019, where she gained invaluable experience in a private hospital and in private practice in central London. On the orthopaedic ward, Montana fostered her understanding of surgical procedures and protocols and developed key relationships with some of the world’s leading surgeons.

She also worked in the boutique health and fitness space combining hands-on treatment with Dynamic Reformer Pilates. She taught group classes and quickly established herself a leading Pilates Clinician in the heart of London. Montana helped her previous company develop pre and postnatal care pathways and is always looking to extend her knowledge in this space. Her exercise prescription skills are a testament to the quality of training she received overseas. Most recently Montana completed her Level 1 Women’s Pelvic Health course and is on track to complete Level 2 in 2022. She is enjoying seeing Women’s Health patients in the clinic and takes a weekly Pre/Postnatal Pilates class.

Faith Cochrane

Faith is an Exercise Physiologist from Tasmania, graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast, who now considers the Sunshine Coast home.
Faith is motivated to optimise the quality of life for all that come to see her, ensuring sessions and programs address personal goals, current ability and lifestyles.
She has a passion for Women’s Health and movement analysis, looking at how to you’re moving daily that has an impact on your musculoskeletal aches and pains.

During her time off Faith likes to mountain climb, mountain bike, play soccer and be down on the beach with her dog. Faith believes that motion is lotion so let’s get moving!

Ed McHugh

Spinal Back Pain & Lower Limb Rehab Physiotherapist

Ed graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree from Nottingham University in the UK in 2005 and completed an MSc in advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy from Hertfordshire University in 2014. Ed is a highly skilled and dynamic physiotherapist with a proven track record of expertise in managing musculoskeletal conditions. Ed has previously studied Sports Science at the prestigious Loughborough University and combines his knowledge in this field to help develop effective rehabilitation and exercise prescription.

Ed has been fortunate to have worked in various clinical settings, which have given him a wholesome understanding of physiotherapy to a variety of patient groups and settings. Ed has worked in private sports physiotherapy clinics, corporate healthcare, occupational health and private hospital facilities, and running his own private practice.

Ed’s specialist interests are treating sports injuries with a particular interest in analysing movement patterns in their role in the injury. Ed also has an interest in treating spinal pain conditions using various manual techniques, acupuncture and rehabilitation to help patients achieve their goals.

Renee Shaw

Physiotherapist

Renee graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013 with first-class honours. Her passion is for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, particularly acute injury management, spinal conditions and pre and post-natal patients. She also has extensive experience in clinical Pilates, teaching since 2013 and completing her APPI equipment certification in 2017.

Renee has a strong background in sport, currently participating in triathlons and running events on the Sunshine Coast. She has also completed extra professional development in running assessments and strength & conditioning, combining her love of sport, exercise and physiotherapy. Renee has recently moved to the Sunshine Coast to study medicine, and in her spare time, she loves running, cycling and hiking around the coast.

Ainslee O’Connell

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Ainslee graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) and has been working in private practice since.

Ainslee completed her honours research in the biomechanical field with her paper ‘The effect of dynamic movement tasks on the restrictive properties of rigid strapping tape’, being presented at the 2019 Australian Podiatry Conference. With a passion for all things lower limb, Ainslee has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, biomechanics, injury prevention and footwear prescription/advice. Outside of Podiatry, Ainslee is a keen netballer and enjoys all things sport related.

Anna Rollo

Remedial Massage Therapist

Anna has over 10 years of experience in the Health industry working at a multidisciplinary clinic in Sydney. She obtained her Diploma of Remedial Massage from TAFE NSW in 2009, graduating with distinctions. She has also received awards for Academic Excellence and Health and Recreation Student of the Year in NSW.

To expand her knowledge of the human body, further her skills and achieve better results for her patients, Anna has completed additional training in Fitness at TAFE NSW and Kinesio Taping KT1, Thermal Stones, NST, MFR and MET.

Anna believes in the importance of regular massage treatments, exercise, and stretching to maintain a healthy state of body and mind. Tarin has been practising as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist since 2013 and recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast from Sydney.
