Buderim Sports & Spinal features on-site car parking as well as an onsite gym with Pilates equipment. We’re NDIS registered, and Medicare rebates and HICAPS health fund claims are available. EFTPOS and credit card facilities are also available for payment. Alex Rachcoff

Shoulder, Knee, Foot & Ankle

Alex has gained valuable experience in the treatment of foot/ankle/shoulder/knee/ and spinal conditions from his years of working in Private and Public rehab in Australia and the UK. Since returning to the coast he extensively treats post-operative and non operative patients from some of the best specialists from Brisbane and the sunshine coast. Using a holistic approach he is able to tailor treatment to the individual and their goals.

Jana Rydwanski

Lower Limb & Acupuncture

Jana studied in New Zealand and graduated with a Bachelors in Health Science majoring in Physiotherapy in 2006 from AUT, completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2010 and a Master of Health Practice in 2011. She worked in New Zealand for five years before coming to Australia, during which time she has been the physiotherapist for Rugby teams and also ran gym-based rehabilitation programs. She has the honour of having an article published in the international physiotherapy journal, Physical Therapy Reviews. Jana believes in a holistic approach to injury and management, is highly dedicated to exercise, and regularly attends further training to ensure that her clinical skills and knowledge are kept up-to-date.

Danielle Keogh

Low Back & Hip/Pelvic Pain

Danielle has developed expertise in accurate diagnosis and treatment of low back and hip pain and regularly attends national and international conferences dedicated to these areas to stay up to date with research and current evidence for optimal patient care and positive outcomes.

Danielle is very passionate about exercise rehabilitation and helping people return to their optimal physical and mental health through the use of Pilates. Danielle is experienced in identifying biomechanical dysfunction and using exercise specific techniques ensuring great outcomes. In her spare time, Danielle is an avid horse rider, competing in dressage competitions with her two horses.

Jaime Singleton

Women's Health Physiotherapist

Jaime graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 and has worked in both the private and public sectors in the field of Women’s Health Physiotherapy for over 12 years. Jaime has worked solely in one of the largest maternity hospitals in Australia, until most recently leading the Allied Health teams in both the newly established Queensland Persistent Pelvic Pain clinic, and the Queensland Pelvic Mesh Service, both aimed specifically at pain and physio management for women. 

Jaime has done further postgraduate study through the University of Melbourne, has trained undergraduate and postgraduate students in this field, and has presented at numerous conferences on varying topics on Women’s Health Physiotherapy. 

Jaime has extensive experience in treating women across the lifespan, from adolescent pelvic pain to pregnancy and postnatal related conditions, as well as post-menopausal and gynaecological concerns. Jaime treats women’s related complaints such as incontinence, prolapse, mastitis, bowel concerns, pregnancy-related pain, pelvic mesh-related concerns, painful sex conditions, and endometriosis-related pain. 

Jaime focuses on supporting and championing women to take control of conditions affecting their lives and is especially passionate when it comes to persistent pain management and safe exercise prescription to suit individual needs. Jaime is also trained as a Clinical Pilates instructor, as well as in dry needling, so can utilise these techniques into her treatment regimes.

Aidan Morris-Bullot

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Aidan graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies. Having also completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Sunshine Coast, and with many years experience in sport (predominantly soccer, swimming and running) at club, state and national levels, Physiotherapy was a natural career choice for him.

Through his academic and sporting pursuits, which have taken him across New Zealand and Australia, Aidan has developed a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, realising the important connection between physical and emotional wellbeing at all levels of physical functioning. As a therapist, he is passionate about promoting health and preventing injury, and believes in a holistic approach to treatment, through hands-on therapies, tailored exercise and education for optimal patient outcomes. Aidan is dedicated to continual personal and professional growth and thrives in helping others to create change and kick goals.

Outside of work, Aidan is a keen football player and runner, and can be found involved in a variety of sports, at the gym or exploring the outdoors.

Julia Wilson

Women's Health Physiotherapist

After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Monash University, Julia was able to gain experience in Melbourne, Wales, and England before moving up to the Sunshine Coast. Through this time, Julia has developed a passion for treating Women’s Health conditions and has completed a range of courses in this area. In particular, Julia enjoys empowering women to better understand their bodies and teaching them how to do everything they love. She has experience treating a wide range of conditions including pre and postnatal conditions, prolapse, incontinence, constipation, and pelvic pain.

In her spare time, Julia loves travelling, eating good food & learning to surf.

Tenikka Mogno

Exercise Physiologist

Tenikka completed her Clinical Exercise Science Degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast with a passion to help people manage their chronic disease or injury through evidence-based exercise prescription and education. Tenikka has a special interest in working with people with Type 2 Diabetes, osteoporosis, and low back pain. Her positive and welcoming attitude makes you feel at ease through your journey of recovery and a healthier lifestyle.

Tenikka has gained experience running cardiac, diabetes and hydrotherapy group classes and throughout her final year of study worked closely with paraplegics, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Cheyne Lee

Exercise Physiologist

Cheyne completed a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of the Sunshine Coast where she discovered how exercise can truly be medicine. She finds joy in helping people improve their independence and lead happier, healthier lives with their loved ones. With her warm and bubbly personality, she will ensure you feel supported and empowered to achieve your health goals through a holistic, evidence-based approach.

Cheyne has experience in the prevention and management of osteoporosis/osteopenia and has special interests in individualised exercise prescription for chronic health conditions such as cardiac and metabolic diseases as well as neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinson’s disease.

Additionally, Cheyne runs hydrotherapy sessions and is also a qualified Pilates instructor, delivering Core Strength Mobility (CSM) classes.

Dianne O’Donnell

Remedial Massage Therapist

Di has worked for Sports and Spinal since 2008, and every day she sees the real benefits of a regular soft deep tissue massage. She has always been passionate about her work: treating sports injuries, pregnancy massages and pre and post-surgery treatments.

Di has a special interest in deep tissue, relaxation, trigger point therapy and lymphatic massages. She also has a keen interest in neck and back injuries but enjoys treating all areas of the body.

Di works alongside every physio at Sports & Spinal to assist in a patient’s recovery to a life of better health. Di believes it doesn’t matter how old you are or your level of fitness, everyone will benefit from a remedial massage.

Samantha Kiorgaard

Dietitian

Samantha studied a Bachelor of Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast and is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Samantha provides a warm and understanding environment in which she supports clients on their journey to improved wellbeing and quality of life. With her knowledge of food and medical nutrition therapy, she encourages sustainable eating behaviours and provides dietary advice that is guided by a client-centred approach, tailoring to the individual needs and unique background of each person. Samantha believes that food doesn’t have to be complicated in order to lead a healthy lifestyle and is meant to be enjoyed.
Samantha has special interests in sports nutrition, bariatric surgery (pre & post), gastrointestinal issues and elderly nutrition.

Ainslee O'Connell

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Ainslee graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) and has been working in private practice since.

Ainslee completed her honours research in the biomechanical field, with her paper ‘The effect of dynamic movement tasks on the restrictive properties of rigid strapping tape’, being presented at the 2019 Australian Podiatry Conference. With a passion for all things lower limb, Ainslee has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, biomechanics, injury prevention and footwear prescription/advice. Outside of Podiatry Ainslee is a keen netballer and enjoys all things sport related.

Luke Rogers

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Luke is an experienced podiatrist who has been operating in private practice for over 14 years, with 2 years of rural experience with Queensland Health. Luke volunteered for several years with the Queensland Podiatry Board and was appointed as President in 2017, providing insight and experience at an industry body level.
This combination of experience and study has led him to gain a strong reputation as a caring and trustworthy practitioner.
Luke has comprehensive experience in all areas of podiatry and enjoys all aspects, from mechanical assessment and sports injuries to ingrown nails and plantar warts. Luke just
likes fixing feet problems. In addition to his Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) at QUT, Luke also has a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, which talks to his interest in sport-related injury management and prevention.
Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Luke has an inherent love for sports, camping and the outdoors. He is a keen golfer and enjoys helping to coach his children’s soccer teams.
