Alex Rachcoff

Shoulder, Knee, Foot & Ankle Physiotherapist

Alex has gained valuable experience in treating foot/ankle/shoulder/knee/ and spinal conditions from his years of working in Private and Public rehab in Australia and the UK. Since returning to the coast, he extensively treats post-operative and non-operative patients from some of the best specialists from Brisbane and the sunshine coast. Using a holistic approach, he can tailor treatment to the individual and their goals.

Jana Rydwanski

Lower Limb & Acupuncture Physiotherapist

Jana studied in New Zealand and graduated with a Bachelors in Health Science majoring in Physiotherapy in 2006 from AUT. She completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2010 and a Master of Health Practice in 2011. She worked in New Zealand for five years before coming to Australia, during which time she has been the physiotherapist for Rugby teams and ran gym-based rehabilitation programs. She has the honour of having an article published in the international physiotherapy journal, Physical Therapy Reviews. Jana believes in a holistic approach to injury and management, is highly dedicated to exercise, and regularly attends further training to ensure that her clinical skills and knowledge are updated.

Danielle Keogh

Low Back & Hip/Pelvic Pain Physiotherapist

Danielle has developed expertise inaccurate diagnosis and treatment of low back and hip pain and regularly attends national and international conferences dedicated to these areas to stay up to date with research and current evidence for optimal patient care and positive outcomes.

Danielle is very passionate about exercise rehabilitation and helping people return to their optimal physical and mental health through Pilates. Danielle is experienced in identifying biomechanical dysfunction and using exercise specific techniques ensuring great outcomes. Danielle is an avid horse rider in her spare time, competing in dressage competitions with her two horses.

Jaime Singleton

Women's Health Physiotherapist

Jaime graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 and has worked in both the private and public sectors in Women’s Health Physiotherapy for over 14 years. Jaime has done further postgraduate study through the University of Melbourne, has trained undergraduate and postgraduate students in this field, and has presented at numerous multidisciplinary conferences about Women’s Health Physiotherapy.
Jaime has extensive experience in treating women across the lifespan, from adolescent pelvic pain to pregnancy and postnatal related conditions, as well as post-menopausal, colorectal bowel and gynaecological concerns. Jaime treats complaints such as incontinence, prolapse, mastitis, bowel concerns, pregnancy-related pain, pelvic pain, mesh-related concerns, painful sex conditions, and endometriosis-related pain.
Jaime focuses on supporting and championing women to take control of conditions affecting their lives and is especially passionate about persistent pain management, with her history in leading the Allied Health teams in both the Queensland Persistent Pelvic Pain clinic and the Queensland Pelvic Mesh Service, both aimed specifically at pain and physio management for women.
Prior to this, Jaime worked as a Senior physiotherapist at the Mater Mothers’ Hospital in Brisbane for 10 years and is also trained as a Clinical Pilates instructor making her very passionate about safe exercise prescriptions to suit individual needs

Aidan Morris-Bullot

Physiotherapist

Aidan graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies. Having also completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Sunshine Coast, and with many years experience in sport (predominantly soccer, swimming and running) at the club, state and national levels, Physiotherapy was a natural career choice for him.

Through his academic and sporting pursuits, which have taken him across New Zealand and Australia, Aidan has developed a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, realising the important connection between physical and emotional wellbeing at all levels of physical functioning. As a therapist, he is passionate about promoting health and preventing injury and believes in a holistic approach to treatment through hands-on therapies, tailored exercise and education for optimal patient outcomes. Aidan is dedicated to continual personal and professional growth and thrives in helping others create change and kick goals.

Outside of work, Aidan is a keen football player and runner, and can be found involved in various sports, at the gym or exploring the outdoors.

Julia Wilson

Women's Health Physiotherapist

After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Monash University, Julia was able to gain experience in Melbourne, Wales, and England before moving up to the Sunshine Coast. Through this time, Julia has developed a passion for treating Women’s Health conditions and has completed various courses in this area. In particular, Julia enjoys empowering women to understand their bodies better and teaching them how to do everything they love. She has experience treating various conditions, including pre and postnatal conditions, prolapse, incontinence, constipation, and pelvic pain.

In her spare time, Julia loves travelling, eating good food & learning to surf.

Leila Jobson

Physiotherapist

Leila graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Newcastle. She grew up on the Sunshine Coast and loves the outdoors lifestyle, her hobbies include distance running, playing with her two dogs and spending weekends at the beach.

Leila enjoys working with people of all age groups and prides herself on being friendly and personable. Her favourite part of the physiotherapy profession is working in a team that assists and encourages people of all ages to have the opportunity to live an active lifestyle.

Throughout the course of the degree, Leila gained knowledge in and developed a strong passion for Women’s Health physiotherapy.

Subsequent to Women’s Health, she developed a special interest in the rehabilitation of shoulder injuries.

Emma Doyle

Physiotherapist

Emma grew up in Melbourne but relocated to New Zealand to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago. She decided to move back to Australia after graduating, seeking out the warmer weather on the Sunshine Coast.

Emma is passionate about getting people back to living their best lives. However, that looks for the individual. She works with her clients to establish meaningful goals, and together they strive to achieve them.

Emma enjoys training for triathlons, rock climbing, and exploring the local area in her spare time.

Landon Inglis

Physiotherapist

Landon graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies having previously completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science. He believes in a holistic, individualised approach to treatment and is very passionate about working together with the patient to help them achieve their goals. His prior experience working in the exercise industry has helped to shape his belief in the importance of movement and exercise as a form of rehabilitation.

He has worked with runners and Australian Rules Footballers previously, and continues to do so, however enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions.

Outside of work, Landon enjoys training and competing in running and triathlon events, and loves a trivia night. Landon has recently moved to the coast to further enjoy the lifestyle it provides.

Tenikka Mogno

Exercise Physiologist

Tenikka completed her Clinical Exercise Science Degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast with a passion to help people manage their chronic disease or injury through evidence-based exercise prescription and education. Tenikka has a special interest in working with people with Type 2 Diabetes, osteoporosis, and low back pain. Her positive and welcoming attitude makes you feel at ease through your journey of recovery and a healthier lifestyle.

Tenikka has gained experience running cardiac, diabetes and hydrotherapy group classes and throughout her final year of study worked closely with paraplegics, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Rue Pushpapathan

Exercise Physiologist

Rue is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, graduating from the University of New South Wales. Rue has had clinical experience working with many musculoskeletal and neurological conditions; more recently, she has gained experience at The Sydney Cancer Survivorship Centre in Concord Repatriation Hospital.

Combining her passion for strength and conditioning with her clinical background in Exercise Physiology, Rue provides effective, holistic programming and value centred support for her patients. She is highly enthusiastic about supporting clients with a unique system centred around movement, nutrition, mindset and lifestyle for optimal improvement. Employing a practical approach, Rue believes that movement is medicine, the foundation in building a healthy lifestyle and promoting a successful recovery.

Dianne O’Donnell

Remedial Massage Therapist

Di has worked for Sports and Spinal since 2008, and every day she sees the real benefits of a regular soft, deep tissue massage. She has always been passionate about treating sports injuries, pregnancy massages, and pre and post-surgery treatments.

Di has a special interest in deep tissue, relaxation, trigger point therapy and lymphatic massages. She also has a keen interest in neck and back injuries but enjoys treating all areas of the body.

Di works alongside every physio at Sports & Spinal to assist in a patient’s recovery to a life of better health. Di believes it doesn’t matter how old you are or your fitness level; everyone will benefit from a remedial massage.

Samantha Kiorgaard

Dietitian

Samantha studied a Bachelor of Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast and is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Samantha provides a warm and understanding environment in which she supports clients on their journey to improved wellbeing and quality of life. With her knowledge of food and medical nutrition therapy, she encourages sustainable eating behaviours and provides dietary advice that is guided by a client-centred approach, tailoring to the individual needs and unique background of each person. Samantha believes that food doesn’t have to be complicated in order to lead a healthy lifestyle and is meant to be enjoyed.
Samantha has special interests in sports nutrition, bariatric surgery (pre & post), gastrointestinal issues and elderly nutrition.

Ainslee O'Connell

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Ainslee graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) and has been working in private practice since.

Ainslee completed her honours research in the biomechanical field with her paper ‘The effect of dynamic movement tasks on the restrictive properties of rigid strapping tape’, being presented at the 2019 Australian Podiatry Conference. With a passion for all things lower limb, Ainslee has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, biomechanics, injury prevention and footwear prescription/advice. Outside of Podiatry, Ainslee is a keen netballer and enjoys all things sport related.

Luke Rogers

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Luke is an experienced podiatrist who has been operating in private practice for over 14 years, with 2 years of rural experience with Queensland Health. Luke volunteered for several years with the Queensland Podiatry Board and was appointed president in 2017, providing insight and experience at an industry body level. This combination of experience and study has led him to gain a strong reputation as a caring and trustworthy practitioner.
Luke has comprehensive experience in podiatry and enjoys all aspects, from mechanical assessment and sports injuries to ingrown nails and plantar warts. Luke likes fixing feet problems. In addition to his Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) at QUT, Luke also has a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, which talks to his interest in sport-related injury management and prevention. Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Luke has an inherent love for sports, camping and the outdoors. He is a keen golfer and enjoys helping to coach his children’s soccer teams.
