Dana Harper
As an Exercise Physiologist with a personal history of sporting injuries and running setbacks, Dana understands first-hand the challenges of staying active through pain. These experiences have fuelled her passion for helping others move with confidence, especially those managing chronic pain, mental health challenges, and women’s health conditions.
Dana brings experience from both private practice and public settings, and is passionate about working within multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
Dana believes in the power of exercise as a form of medicine and is a dedicated advocate for using movement to support long-term health and wellbeing. She enjoys using a combination of Pilates, progressive resistance, cardiovascular and mobility exercises to help her clients achieve their goals in a way that is effective, sustainable, and tailored to their needs. Dana brings a compassionate, evidence-based approach to every session to ensure her clients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality of care.
Outside the clinic, Dana enjoys staying active and moving her body in a variety of ways—whether it’s attending group fitness classes, practicing Pilates or yoga, going for a run, or exploring a hiking trail. In her downtime, she loves cooking delicious meals for family and friends or unwinding with a good book.
Dana is available for exercise physiology consults at Sports & Spinal Chermside.
