Olivia McManus

Originally from Brisbane, Olivia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at The University of Queensland. Olivia enjoys consulting with active individuals, athletes and people from all backgrounds, with a variety of presentations. She has a particular passion for managing lower limb and contact-sport injuries, and enjoys working closely with her patients to return them to their chosen activities.

Olivia is the current Harvey Norman 19s physiotherapist for the Redcliffe Dolphins. She has also worked extensively as a sports trainer within Rugby Union in the QPR competition, Rugby 7s teams at a national level, and also with football and netball teams. Recently, Olivia completed an internship with the Queensland Reds SuperRugby side, where she further developed robust skills in injury management and high-performance rehabilitation.

Olivia’s clinical approach centres on evidence-based best practice rehabilitation and outcome-driven care. Her interests have led her to gain further qualifications as an ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach and in Dry Needling. She has also spent some time volunteering in Mnazi Mjoma Hospital in Tanzania, gaining valuable experience managing complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

On the weekends, you will find Olivia on the side of a footy field, at the beach, in the gym or playing hockey.

Olivia is available for physiotherapy consults at Sports & Spinal Caloundra and Sippy Downs.
