Sports & Spinal Physio Robina is located in the heart of the Gold Coast. You can find us on the 3rd floor of the HQ Building (Corner of Riverwalk & Laver Drive) at 36/58 Riverwalk Avenue, with convenient car parking right out the front. The clinic is a 2-minute drive from the town centre and conveniently located near Merrimac, Mudgeeraba, Varsity Lakes, Reedy Creek, Clear Island Waters, Mermaid Waters, Tallai, Worongary and Carrara.

We believe that a strong relationship between client and therapist is the foundation through which a client will progress towards their therapeutic and life goals.  Psychology @ Sports & Spinal offer a range of flexible service delivery options to suit your needs.

Robina Sports & Spinal clinic features on-site car parking as well as an onsite gym with Pilates equipment. We’re NDIS registered, and Medicare rebates and HICAPS health fund claims are available. EFTPOS and credit card facilities are also available for payment. Modern, clean and inviting, your local Robina practice is popular for Psychology as well as Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Pilates, Remedial Massage, Podiatry and Dietetics.

Booking can be made online or contacting our clinic directly, we do not require a referral from your GP to get booked in however to see our clinical psychologist under the Mental Health Care Plan by Medicare you will need to see your GP, the process starts with your GP preparing a Mental Health Care Plan which you then bring to your first appointment. A Mental Health Care Plan is not required to receive a rebate from your private health fund.

Kate Brayley

Psychologist

Kate is a registered general and performance psychologist with a Master of Psychology (Sport and Exercise) from the University of Queensland. She has practised as a psychologist in a wide range of settings including the performing arts, sport and exercise, clinical psychology, and drug and alcohol support services. She draws on a range of evidence-based therapies to promote self-awareness and support clients to develop and maintain social, emotional, mental and physical health and well-being. She has a genuine, warm and respectful style, and believes that everyone has the potential and ability to realise their own strengths. She is interested in the relationship between physical and mental/emotional health, and in the benefits of being proactive in the prevention of mental health issues.

Her areas of interest and experience include:

  • Managing and developing lifestyle changes
  • Supporting life transitions
  • Providing support for injury and pain management
  • Dealing with stress, anxiety and depression
  • Overcoming barriers to exercise/physical activity
  • Building self-esteem and confidence

Finding Robina Sports & Spinal and Parking Information:

To find the HQ Building, from the Pacific Motorway M1, take exit 82. Turn onto Robina Parkway and continue towards Robina Shopping Centre. At the first roundabout turn left (onto Laver Drive) and you will see the HQ @ Robina building on your right.

Robina parking is available at the front of the building in the ‘visitor’ car parks. If these are full, we have 2 spaces available on basement level 1. To access the basement level car parks you will need to turn left out of the car park and do a U-turn at the roundabout, followed by a U-turn at the next roundabout, then turn left into Riverwalk Avenue, and the entrance to the Basement car park is on your right. As you enter the Basement car park turn left and we have 2 designated car parking spaces, which are numbered 36.
