Benjamin Dixon

Benjamin is a UK-trained Physiotherapist who graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Brighton. He has gained broad experience across both NHS and private musculoskeletal services throughout the UK, developing a strong clinical interest in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions.

Benjamin has a particular interest in lower back, lower limb, foot and ankle conditions. His experience extends into professional sport, having worked within professional football/soccer with Ipswich Town Football Club. He has also gained experience working in extreme endurance sports, assisting a New Balance team during an unsanctioned ultramarathon event covering the distance from Salt Lake City, Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada over three days.

Benjamin takes a practical, evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, combining hands-on treatment with tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs to help patients return to the activities that are important to them. His experience across clinical, professional sports and endurance environments has given him a strong appreciation of the physical demands placed on the body and the importance of developing rehabilitation plans that are specific to each individual.

Outside of physiotherapy, Benjamin enjoys CrossFit and triathlon-based training and has recently completed Ironman Wales. He is passionate about helping patients understand their condition, build confidence in their movement, and achieve their individual goals.

Benjamin is available for Physiotherapy appointments at Sports & Spinal Indooroopilly.
