Savanna Daubinet
Savanna completed her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at The University of Queensland, after earning a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her strong foundation in biomedical science underpins her evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment.
Sport has always been a major part of Savanna’s life. She grew up playing a wide range of sports, including indoor and outdoor hockey, action and outdoor netball, futsal and cross country, before specialising in state-level soccer and equestrian. After sustaining her own ACL and meniscus reconstruction, Savanna experienced first-hand the physical and mental challenges of rehabilitation, an experience that shaped her passion for helping others through their recovery journeys.
Originally from South Africa, Savanna understands the importance of building and rebuilding community when settling into life in Australia. This perspective strongly influences her approach to care, as she values connection, trust, and taking the time to truly get to know each of her patients. She adopts a holistic approach to physiotherapy, recognising that factors such as stress, work-life balance, and family commitments can play a significant role in injury, recovery, and overall well-being. By working collaboratively with her patients, Savanna aims to deliver personalised, active treatment plans that support both physical recovery and long-term health.
Outside of the clinic, Savanna enjoys training at the gym, running, and completing outdoor activities with friends and family.
Savanna is available for Physiotherapy consults at our Kawana and Baringa clinics.
