Mahlia Snowden

Mahlia is a passionate advocate for health and wellness, with an interest in neurological rehabilitation and women’s health. Hailing from the Northern Territory, Mahlia’s journey to her profession took her to the Gold Coast, where she pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Griffith University, graduating in 2023. It was here that she honed her skills and knowledge in understanding the intricacies of the human body and its functions.

With a strong desire to make a difference in people’s lives, Mahlia has previous experience working as a support worker, specifically with individuals facing spinal cord injuries. This hands-on experience has equipped her with invaluable insights into the challenges and triumphs of those navigating neurological conditions, fostering her dedication to improving their quality of life through exercise and rehabilitation.

Beyond her professional endeavours, she finds joy and fulfilment in the sport of rugby union, where she trains and plays actively. This passion for sport not only highlights her commitment to physical fitness but also reflects her resilience and team-oriented mindset, qualities that she brings to her work in the field of exercise physiology.

As she embarks on her journey in the field, Mahlia is excited to leverage her skills, knowledge, and experiences to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others, championing health, wellness, and inclusivity every step of the way.
