Rory Hutcheon

Originally from Brisbane, Rory completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University before relocating to the Sunshine Coast to join the team at Caloundra Sports and Spinal. He has a strong interest in high-performance rehabilitation, spinal conditions and acute injury management, particularly in the management of tendon and ligament injuries.

Rory is constantly finding up-to-date research and loves learning the newest ideas in the Physiotherapy world. He finds reward in working with his patients as a team to achieve whatever goals they wish to achieve. He loves what he does for this reason, building a relationship and working towards a meaningful target together.

He has gained valuable experience working with Sydney FC, providing on-field physiotherapy support and assisting with high-performance rehabilitation with the academy and NPL teams. Rory has also broadened his clinical experience internationally, working in a paediatric clinic in Vietnam and gaining exposure to a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find him running, snowboarding, on the golf course or playing/watching footy (Go the Brisbane Lions!).

Rory is available for Physiotherapy consults at Sports & Spinal Caloundra.
