Josh Great

Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University in 2016. Heading straight into private practice work, Josh developed a passion for guiding patients along their rehabilitation journey and ensuring they are well-informed and included in all the steps along the way. With a keen love of footballing (that’s the round ball) and sports-related injuries. After some time working, Josh migrated to the UK to broaden his horizons and diversify his physiotherapy practice. He engaged in various contracts in musculoskeletal practice and even rapid upskilling in hospital physiotherapy as part of the UK’s COVID19 response.
Personal and professional development are both key takeaways from his time overseas (and of course a repertoire of travel tales). He enjoys treating all sports-related injuries, particularly the knee and ankle, and bridging the gap between injury and return to sport. Josh understands the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle and takes a holistic approach to treatment, working with the patient to meet and conquer goals.

At any time left over in the week, Josh is a member of Football Queensland Referees and takes charge of local football games most weekends. He is a coffee and red wine enthusiast who enjoys the outdoors, the beach, hiking, and a gym session or jogs to round off the week.
