Benjamin Frank
Exercise Physiologist: Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation & Cardiometabolic Health
Ben is passionate about all things gym-related and has a background in personal training. He completed 2 bachelor degrees in Melbourne (Bachelor of Science: majoring in Human Physiology with a minor in Psychology; and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science) as well as a master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology before moving to Gympie at the end of 2023. His areas of interest include:
- Musculoskeletal rehabilitation (with specialisation in the shoulder)
- Strength and conditioning
- Defence veteran rehabilitation

During his current role, he has refined his musculoskeletal knowledge and upskilled through completing shoulder rehabilitation courses.
His approach to rehabilitation and resilience has been shaped by his own journey. In 2022, he nearly lost his arm in a cycling accident, which combined with years of chronic low back pain, has taught him not only the importance of evidence-based rehabilitation on a personal level, but also empathy, patience, and the mental strength needed to overcome adversity.
He believes mindset is everything. His focus is on building genuine relationships with clients and empowering them to achieve sustainable, life-changing results—physically and mentally.
