Sports & Spinal Physio Baringa is located at Aura Family Doctors located at Stockland Baringa Shopping Centre, Stockland Baringa is located on the corner of Edwards Terrace and Baringa Drive, opposite the Baringa Primary School, in the heart of Baringa. Conveniently located near Little Mountain, Nirimba, Aura Estate and  Caloundra West.

Baringa Sports & Spinal features on-site car parking. We’re NDIS registered, and Medicare rebates and HICAPS health fund claims are available. EFTPOS and credit card facilities are also available for payment. Modern, clean and inviting space for Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Dietetics.

Aura Family Doctors will offer a full range of General Practice services. Aura Family Doctors and nursing team will cover all aspects of family medicine in our new, custom-built facilities in the heart of Baringa.

Dion Wallace

Shoulder, Knee & Sports Rehab Physiotherapist

A Sunshine Coast local, Dion has completed a postgraduate Masters in Physiotherapy on a background of a Bachelor’s degree in sport and exercise science. As well as this, Dion is a full member of Sports Medicine Australia and has completed the level 2 APA Sports Physiotherapy course.

Dion passion lies in keeping people active whilst managing acute and chronic injuries. Dion is invested in helping his clients regain their optimal level of function whether that be on the field or in the home. Working closely with top local surgeons Dion also has significant experience with the rehabilitation of those who are undertaking surgery or who are recovering from recent surgery.

Dion’s interests lie in Shoulder and Knee physiotherapy and run a return to sports clinic focusing on high-performance rehabilitation. Recently Dion has been working with the senior sporting teams of Matthew Flinders Anglican College providing a weekly triage service and game-day assistance. Outside of work, Dion has a keen interest in AFL, Rugby Union and surfing.

Sabrina Maynard

General Physiotherapy

Sabrina graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Central Queensland University. Sabrina is passionate about providing the utmost quality of care for all patients with a focus on an individualised holistic approach. Sabrina has a keen interest in sport especially netball, cricket, rugby league and rugby union. She loves working with a variety of people and prides herself on being friendly and approachable. She wants to help you get back to your daily living and reach your goals as soon as possible. Sabrina is keen to continually develop her clinical skills and knowledge to provide the best possible treatment for you.

Sabrina is available for Physiotherapy appointments at our Baringa and Kawana locations.

Mitchell Hill

General Physiotherapist

Recently completed Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at CQUniversity. Mitch was able to experience a wide variety of clinical settings. Mitch developed a real passion for working as part of a team of health professionals who strive to provide the best possible patient-centred care.

Mitch aims to use my physiotherapy skills and previous experience in sport and exercise to best provide patients with effective and holistic care to suit their needs. Mitch particularly values the importance of clear communication and education with patients to ensure the best quality treatments. Mitch understands that people don’t want to dwell on what they can’t do and enjoys empowering people to be the best they can be. Mitch also enjoys working closely with patients to help them accomplish their goals, great and small. 

Mitch enjoys living an active lifestyle and has a passion for the sport; particularly cricket and AFL. Moving from Rockhampton, Mitch is looking forward to the cooler weather and embracing all the great sights the coast has to offer.

Luke Rogers

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Luke is an experienced podiatrist who has been operating in private practice for over 14 years, with 2 years of rural experience with Queensland Health. Luke volunteered for several years with the Queensland Podiatry Board and was appointed as President in 2017, providing insight and experience at an industry body level.
This combination of experience and study has led him to gain a strong reputation as a caring and trustworthy practitioner.
Luke has comprehensive experience in all areas of podiatry and enjoys all aspects, from mechanical assessment and sports injuries to ingrown nails and plantar warts. Luke just
likes fixing feet problems. In addition to his Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) at QUT, Luke also has a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, which talks to his interest in sport-related injury management and prevention.
Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Luke has an inherent love for sports, camping and the outdoors. He is a keen golfer and enjoys helping to coach his children’s soccer teams.

Caitlin Follett

Dietitian

Caitlin is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who prides herself on focusing on her clients as a whole person, and understands there is so much more to an individual than just what they eat. Since graduating from her Bachelor of Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Caitlin has developed her interest in the areas of gut health, vegetarian and vegan nutrition, oncology, and chronic disease management.

Caitlin is passionate about making a healthy lifestyle an enjoyable lifestyle by supporting her clients to create achievable and realistic changes in line with their goals. She uses a non-judgemental, friendly and tailored approach with her care, as she understands that it can be daunting opening up to someone about your health concerns and what you eat.

When she isn’t working, Caitlin enjoys exploring the Sunshine Coast by getting outside to go for walks or hikes, to the beach for a swim, or painting at home.

Caitlin is available for appointments at Kawana, Baringa and Caloundra.
