Jaime Singleton

Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

With over 15 years of experience in the field of Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, I’ve been fortunate enough to work in the largest Maternity hospital in Australia, liaise alongside specialist Gynecologists, Urogynaecologists, Colorectal surgeons and Pain Doctors, and treat countless patients across the lifespan from teenage years to the elderly.

I have completed the post-graduate study and many advanced courses in pelvic health; taught university students both on an undergraduate and postgraduate level; presented at international conferences; headed the Allied Health teams for Persistent Pelvic Pain clinics in the areas of Endometriosis and Pelvic Mesh injuries, and worked in both the public and private sectors of health and Physiotherapy.

I love working with all pelvic health clients in helping them to really understand their conditions and champion them to take control of their rehabilitation to optimise their outcomes.

I love working with pelvic pain and post-operative patients; I am qualified to fit pessaries for pelvic organ prolapse management; and I am a qualified Level 4 DMA Clinical Pilates instructor as well, so individualised exercise prescription is a large part of my treatment approach.

Outside of work, you’ll find me either spending bulk time with my dogs, at any live music I can find (a sucker for RnB!), or down at the beach which is why I moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast!

Ben Bowering

Exercise Physiologist

Combining a love for exercise and a desire to help people, Ben dove straight into the studies of Exercise Physiology and through his experience has further cultivated a passion for Musculoskeletal and Neurological rehabilitation. Graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, he gained the skills and knowledge to guide people through their recovery, getting them back to what they love doing. Ben believes in a person-centred approach to rehabilitation, ensuring all individuals are listened to and involved in curating their treatment plan.

Ben is fortunate enough to be a lifelong local of the Sunshine Coast and has participated in most sports and activities the region has to offer. When he’s not working, you can find Ben out in the surf, on the golf course perfecting his swing, or in the kitchen testing new recipes.

Roisin Fradd

Physiotherapist

Roisin graduated from ACU in Ballarat, VIC and is now a Sunshine Coast local. Roisin thoroughly enjoys private practice and looks forward to working with a wide variety of patients.
Roisin grew up in Victoria, playing netball and being a competitive rower.
She has a special interest in preventing and managing sports injuries after being involved in this area. When treating patients, Roisin has a firm view that the best results are found when the patient is at the centre of the care and in control of their rehabilitation/treatment pathway.
Outside of work, Roisin enjoys exploring the Sunshine Coast, getting outdoors and being in the water as much as possible.

Callum Smith

Physiotherapist

Callum completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2017 and has since been working in private practice in Brisbane and more recently on the Sunshine Coast. Callum enjoys meeting clients from all walks of life. He takes pride in tailoring treatment plans to fit each individual’s lifestyle and goals. A key philosophy Callum strives to practice, is taking the time to get to know the person in front of him and incorporate their input into their own rehabilitation. Callum enjoys seeing all manner of injuries and conditions and has completed advanced courses in the management of pelvic/low back pain and the injured shoulder. He is trained in Western Acupuncture and Dry Needling.

Away from work, Callum enjoys playing Rugby in the local A-grade competition is a huge Sunshine Coast Lightning fan. Originally hailing from Charters Towers, North Queensland, Callum likes to escape the hustle and bustle by heading out bush or up the coast.

Ashley Vincent

Physiotherapist With An Interest In Women’s Health

Ashley completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University and has since spent over 5 years working in private practices across Brisbane, rural NSW and recently returned home to the Sunshine Coast.
Ashley has experience treating an array of musculoskeletal conditions, including low back pain, post-operative rehabilitation, acute sporting injuries and dance injuries, given her 16-year competitive dance background.
Ashley has training in western acupuncture and dry needling, sports physiotherapy and all forms of pilates.
She has also completed post-graduate training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy enabling her to treat various pelvic floor conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and all things pre and postnatal. She has a passion for helping women achieve a healthy and happy quality of life.
Ashley is enthusiastic about providing a holistic approach to patient-centred care and providing tailored, evidence-based exercise programs to create long term management for her patients.

Caitlin Follett

Gut Health, Women’s Health & Diabetes Dietitian

Caitlin is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who prides herself on focusing on her clients as a whole person and understands there is so much more to an individual than just what they eat. Since graduating with her Bachelor of Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Caitlin has developed her interest in gut health, vegetarian and vegan nutrition, oncology, and chronic disease management.

Caitlin is passionate about making a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle by supporting her clients to create achievable and realistic changes in line with their goals. She uses a non-judgemental, friendly and tailored approach with her care, as she understands that it can be daunting opening up to someone about your health concerns and what you eat.

When she isn’t working, Caitlin enjoys exploring the Sunshine Coast by getting outside to go for walks or hikes, to the beach for a swim, or painting at home.

Caitlin is available for appointments at Kawana, Baringa, Nambour and Caloundra.

Luke Rogers

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Luke is an experienced podiatrist who has been operating in private practice for over 14 years, with 2 years of rural experience with Queensland Health. Luke volunteered for several years with the Queensland Podiatry Board and was appointed president in 2017, providing insight and experience at an industry body level. This combination of experience and study has led him to gain a strong reputation as a caring and trustworthy practitioner.
Luke has comprehensive experience in podiatry and enjoys all aspects, from mechanical assessment and sports injuries to ingrown nails and plantar warts. Luke likes fixing feet problems. In addition to his Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) at QUT, Luke also has a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, which talks to his interest in sport-related injury management and prevention. Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Luke has an inherent love for sports, camping and the outdoors. He is a keen golfer and enjoys helping to coach his children’s soccer teams.

Mandy Lung

Physiotherapist

After completing a degree in Exercise Physiology followed by Physiotherapy in Sydney, Mandy decided to explore more of Australia, particularly Queensland and its warmer waters.
Mandy’s experience in physiotherapy and exercise physiology has allowed her to see a wide range of conditions in both the public and private sectors. Mandy believes empowering clients through education and self-management strategies allows them to be in the driver seat of their own health so they can continue to do the things they love.

On days off, Mandy loves exploring the outdoors, hiking, heading to the beach and trying her hand in various sports.

Mandy is available for Physiotherapy appointments at our Kawana clinic.

Beth White

Remedial Massage Therapist

Beth has worked as a Remedial Massage Therapist for 10 years. She has a Diploma of Remedial Massage from Nature Care College.

Coming from Sydney, Beth worked with several chiropractic clinics supporting their clients and therapists. She is a past world champion para triathlete and has extensive experience managing high performing athletes and helping them to accelerate recovery between events.

Beth has additional training in deep tissue, trigger point therapy,  pregnancy, relaxation, and sports therapy massage modalities. Beth has managed clients recovering from spinal surgery, sports injuries, stroke and workplace rehabilitation.

Beth is a blind therapist and is supported by her guide dog Queenie. Beth has also worked with Guide Dogs in their community outreach programs, fundraising activities and as a public speaker.

Beth is available for Remedial Massage appointments at our Kawana clinic.

Renee Shaw

Physiotherapist

Renee graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013 with first-class honours. Her passion is for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, particularly acute injury management, spinal conditions and pre and post-natal patients. She also has extensive experience in clinical Pilates, teaching since 2013 and completing her APPI equipment certification in 2017.

Renee has a strong background in sport, currently participating in triathlons and running events on the Sunshine Coast. She has also completed extra professional development in running assessments and strength & conditioning, combining her love of sport, exercise and physiotherapy. Renee has recently moved to the Sunshine Coast to study medicine, and in her spare time, she loves running, cycling and hiking around the coast.

Ainslee O’Connell

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Ainslee graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) and has been working in private practice since.

Ainslee completed her honours research in the biomechanical field with her paper ‘The effect of dynamic movement tasks on the restrictive properties of rigid strapping tape’, being presented at the 2019 Australian Podiatry Conference. With a passion for all things lower limb, Ainslee has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, biomechanics, injury prevention and footwear prescription/advice. Outside of Podiatry, Ainslee is a keen netballer and enjoys all things sport related.

Ainslee is available for Podiatry appointments at Buderim, Sippy Downs and Kawana.

Tenikka Mogno

Exercise Physiologist

Tenikka completed her Clinical Exercise Science Degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast with a passion to help people manage their chronic disease or injury through evidence-based exercise prescription and education. Tenikka has a special interest in working with people with Type 2 Diabetes, osteoporosis, and low back pain. Her positive and welcoming attitude makes you feel at ease through your journey of recovery and a healthier lifestyle.

Tenikka has gained experience running cardiac, diabetes and hydrotherapy group classes and throughout her final year of study worked closely with paraplegics, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Dion Wallace

Shoulder, Knee & Sports Rehab Physiotherapist

Working in the field for almost a decade, Dion has completed a post-graduate Masters in Physiotherapy on a background of a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science.
Dion likes to think outside the box and help return clients to their optimum level of function, and manage acute and chronic pain, whether that is in the home, at work or in the sporting environment.
Dion has completed additional studies in Sports injury, Musculoskeletal Injury and Chronic Pain Management and enjoys working with a wide variety of patients to help them achieve their goals.
Dion has a keen interest in AFL and Rugby Union outside of work.

Incontinence describes any accidental or involuntary loss of:⁠

So why not make a hearty and nutritious Minestrone soup for your next dinner? Adding a soup mix like this one is a great way to boost the fibre and plant protein content of your meals! 🌿🌱⁠

Here’s the recipe:⁠
🍲 1 cup Italian Soup Mix⁠
🍲 3 cups water⁠
🍲 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil⁠
🍲 ½ brown onion, sliced⁠
🍲 1 tsp crushed garlic⁠
🍲 1 carrot, diced⁠
🍲 1 small potato, diced⁠
🍲 ½ zucchini, diced⁠
🍲 100g frozen spinach⁠
🍲 1 tbsp tomato paste⁠
🍲 1 stock cube⁠
🍲 ½ tsp oregano⁠
🍲 Pinch of basil⁠
🍲 Pinch of parmesan⁠
⁠
1. Prepare the soup mix as per packet instructions.⁠
In a medium saucepan add the olive oil, garlic and onion. Once translucent, add the potato, carrot, tomato paste, stock and water. Cook for 10 minutes.⁠

2. Add the spinach and zucchini and season with oregano. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.⁠
⁠
3. Once ready to serve, dish into bowls and top with parmesan cheese and basil and Voilà!!⁠

🧠 Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the most common diseases of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Today, 2.8 million people around the world have MS.⁠

🧠 MS is an inflammatory demyelinating condition. It is caused by damage to myelin – a fatty material that insulates nerves. In MS, the loss of myelin affects the way nerves conduct electrical impulses to and from the brain. Symptoms can include blurred vision, weak limbs, tingling sensations, unsteadiness, memory problems, and fatigue.⁠

🧠 Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40. MS is two to three times more common in women than in men. There is no drug that can cure MS, but treatments are available which can modify the course of the disease.⁠
