With an emphasis on core conditioning, breathing and body awareness, our Core, Strength & Mobility classes are a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints.
Core, Strength & Mobility classes utilise various exercises that incorporate balance, power, strength and stability.
This can be done either using the Pilates equipment (reformer, trapeze table, exercise ball etc.) in a CSM Studio class or the form of a Mat Class, utilising bodyweight and minimal equipment. From here, we build and progress your program as appropriate with continued advice and education throughout, so you left feeling a better version of YOU.
Our Core, Strength & Mobility classes are a fitness regime for life, performed on a mat or with specialised equipment. The perfect complement to cardiovascular exercise, sport, rehab and life, these classes will leave you looking toned, feeling revitalised and moving with ease.
“Sessions focus on controlled movement patterns that improve mobility, balance and long-term functional strength. This makes it suitable for both rehabilitation and general conditioning.
Both Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists run our classes with Clinical Pilates Experience. Clinical Pilates refers to one-on-one Pilates that are often used for injury rehabilitation and used in conjunction with physiotherapy. Sports & Spinal offers both and can cater to your exact needs.
All patients are required to have an initial assessment with a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist before beginning any of our classes. This is to familiarise patients with any equipment, positions, exercises and identify any injuries/restrictions that we may need to be aware of prior to a patient attending a class.
Sports & Spinal Broadbeach is NDIS registered and accepts Medicare rebates and HICAPS health fund claims. EFTPOS and credit card facilities are also available for payment. Parking is available onsite at the Oasis Shopping Center with 3 hours of free parking for our customers. Enter the car park from either Victoria Avenue or Charles Avenue.
Core, Strength & Mobility classes are perfect for toning and reshaping the body. It works on creating long, lean muscles, toning all of those hard to target areas such as the abdominals, inner thighs, buttocks, back of thighs, sides and backs of the arms. For toning, these classes are best performed 3 to 5 times a week through a combination of studio sessions, mat classes and home exercises.
Pilates exercises are performed through a wide range of movements and work on lengthening the muscles at the same time as strengthening them. To increase flexibility, stretching exercises need to be performed daily.
The Clinical Pilates exercises used in our Core, Strength & Mobility classes focus on strengthening the weakened postural muscles and stretching the tight muscles that pull the body into these poor postures. Studio sessions are the best way to improve posture as our physiotherapists can develop a program to target your specific postural problems. Pilates can also be used for back pain as it relaxes and strengthens the muscles, easing the discomfort.
Our Core, Strength & Mobility classes use Clinical Pilates techniques which are fantastic for injury rehabilitation and prevention as it works on core stability, posture, flexibility, and correcting muscle imbalances and weaknesses via specific strengthening. It can be used for arthritis, neck pain, back pain and various injuries.
Pilates is the secret tool that many high level and recreational athletes use to enhance their performance, decrease the risk of injuries and provide much-needed cross-training. Each sport has specific strength and flexibility requirements. When you book in for an assessment, your physiotherapist will look at the things you need to work on to improve your performance and then proceed to design a Pilates program for you.

After completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University, Chloe developed a strong interest in injury management and rehabilitation. She is passionate about helping people move well, stay active, and get back to doing the things they love.
Chloe enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, from active individuals returning to sport and exercise to those looking to move more comfortably and confidently in everyday life. She believes physiotherapy should be about more than just treating pain. By combining hands-on treatment, exercise, and education, she aims to help patients understand their condition, take control of their recovery, and achieve their goals.
Known for her friendly and approachable nature, Chloe takes the time to listen and understand what matters most to each person. She creates personalised treatment plans tailored to her patients’ goals, lifestyle, and individual needs, and is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident throughout their recovery journey.
Having grown up on the Gold Coast, Chloe has always had a passion for health and staying active. Outside the clinic, she enjoys strength training, horse riding, spending time at the beach, and catching up with friends over a good coffee.

Elli Melrose
Physiotherapist - Women's Health & Musculoskeletal
Elli is a dedicated physiotherapist who graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). She is passionate about providing personalised, evidence-based care to help clients manage injuries, improve their physical health, and confidently return to the activities they enjoy.
Elli has a strong interest in sports-related injuries and general rehabilitation, and has undertaken extensive training in women’s health physiotherapy. Elli supports patients with a range of pelvic health concerns including pelvic organ prolapse, bladder and bowel dysfunction, stress urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction related to exercise. She also provides assessment and management for pre- and post-natal concerns, including pelvic floor rehabilitation and return to exercise following pregnancy.
With a passion for sports and health, Elli grew up competing at the highest level in gymnastics before using her experience and skills to coach for several years. Outside the clinic, Elli enjoys spending her free time at the beach and attending high-energy fitness classes with friends.

Kim is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to the clinic in late 2026.
Kimberley graduated with Masters of Physiotherapy as well as a Bachelor in Exercise Science from Griffith University. Kimberley is also a qualified Pilates instructor, which allows her to incorporate Pilates in her rehabilitation programs for her clients to improve ones’ health and wellbeing as well as recovering from injury.
Kimberley is dedicated and passionate about ensuring a holistic patient – centred treatment and care while creating individualised rehabilitation programs to support your goals and allow you to achieve them and return to the things you enjoy in life.
Kimberley has an extensive sporting background, with a keen interest in swimming having competed at state level. Kimberley also incorporates the use of shockwave therapy treatment for patients with chronic tendinopathies which coincides with her developed interest in chronic pain conditions. Kimberley can assist with musculoskeletal, sports and chronic pain physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Kimberley enjoys spending time with family and friends, been at the beach, hiking, and camping.

RI visited this clinic during my stay in Broadbeach, hoping to ease the pain from a severely strained back. The pain was sharp with even the smallest movements – getting out of bed, lying down, or sitting. So I was quite distressed.
Ellie treated me, and I was genuinely surprised and impressed by how much relief she provided. After the first session, I could move around without the sharp pain, and I felt about 70% better, leaving the rest to time and recovery. Marina is a life saver. I was struggle with my training last year as a prepared for the pro women’s hyrox due to a knee issue and after seeing Marina a few times I had no pain and since then have had no recurring soreness. In the past month I have started getting a sore back and have started seeing her again with yet again amazing results.
