Kate is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a passion for helping patients achieve their optimal physical health and performance. With a special interest in sports injuries and acute musculoskeletal injuries, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Coolum team.
Kate grew up in outback Queensland, before moving to Brisbane to complete a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013. She spent the formative years of her career working in private practice settings at the Sunshine Coast and London, leading her to develop a special interest in acute musculoskeletal injuries. Upon return to Australia, Kate pursued work in more specialised sports settings, ultimately practicing in Sydney’s largest sports medicine clinic. Kate then spent several winter seasons working as a snow sports physiotherapist in NSW’s Snowy Mountains.
Kate has a particular interest in acute knee injuries and shoulder pathologies, and is passionate about providing quality care for athletes and active individuals.
Outside the clinic, Kate can be found enjoying the great outdoors – playing community sports or hiking in the mountains during warmer months; and snowboarding in winter. Her first hand experience with sports gives her a unique insight into the challenges faced by her patients, allowing her to provide a holistic journey to recovery and peak physical performance.

Brooke Wilson
Physiotherapist
Brooke now calls the Sunshine Coast home, moving from down south, she is thrilled to offer her expertise to the local community while embracing the vibrant coastal lifestyle.
With a strong foundation in private practice, Brooke has mastered evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches to patient care and rehabilitation. Her holistic approach ensures comprehensive treatment for a variety of concerns, including sporting injuries, neck discomfort, and headaches which allows Brooke to be more targeted in her professional development in this specialisty area. Brooke also provides specialised support for NDIS clients, showcasing her dedication to addressing diverse patient needs.

Larissa Munutti
Remedial Massage Therapist
Larissa is a highly motivated Massage Therapist with years of experience in Remedial, Sports and Pregnancy massage. She studied Massage Therapy in Brazil and currently holds an Australian diploma in remedial massage.
During her trajectory, Larissa has helped people treat musculoskeletal dysfunction, improve their range of motion, provide pain relief, prevent injuries and general relaxation to improve their quality of life. Passionate about restoring the body to equilibrium, she gives an intuitive, thorough and effective treatment.
She uses Myofascial release, Trigger points therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Cuppings and Stretching.
Each session begins with an in-depth health assessment where she listens, discusses and analyses the client’s needs, offering helpful techniques and developing and implementing a personalised treatment plan.

Rod Carroll
Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist
Rod has been in the industry extensively and brings with him experience in sports, remedial and trigger point therapy. Rod is also experienced in reflexology and pregnancy massage.
Rod believes in the systematic assessment and treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management caused by sports and work-related injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation and general soreness from a wide variety of activities and postures.
Before any treatment begins, Rod carries out a thorough client consultation and assessment. Rod listens to clients and works on the areas that require attention, applying the relevant and appropriate treatment to create favourable conditions for the body to return to normal health.
In his spare time, Rod enjoys surfing, swimming, running, and AFL Umpiring. Having had professional coaching in triathlons (all disciplines) Rod has a good understanding of the sports-related issues and injuries that can occur and can assist to analyse and offer remediation.

Sam Cobourn
Sports Physiotherapist
Sam grew up in Port Macquarie and has since relocated to the Sunshine Coast, where he continues to apply his physiotherapy expertise. Graduating with Distinction from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Sam has developed a broad skill set in treating all areas of the body, with a particular interest in lower limb and sports injuries.
Sam has pursued further training to enhance his practice, including the GLA:D program for evidence-based management of osteoarthritis and additional education on the multifactorial nature of pain conditions. He also holds a Certificate in Dry Needling. Sam has experience working with a local AFL club, giving him additional skills in sports injury management.
A key aspect of Sam’s practice is his use of VALD software, a cutting-edge technology that enables precise assessments and more tailored treatment programs, leading to improved patient outcomes. Sam is dedicated to creating individualized management plans that align with each patient’s goals, helping them return to the activities they enjoy.
Outside of his professional life, Sam has an extensive martial arts background. He has both instructed and competed at an international level, representing Australia in Russia and China. Sam’s passion for an active lifestyle and the great outdoors complements his work, and he embraces life with enthusiasm and a readiness for adventure.
Sam has a special interest in Sports Physiotherapy, Lower Limb Physiotherapy, General Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and has completed his certificate in Dry Needling.

Koren West
Lower Back & Neurological Physiotherapist
Koren graduated from Bond University in 2009 with a Doctor of Physiotherapy. During that time, she worked closely with Tennis Australia in Brisbane and the junior elite tennis players in the prevention of lower back and spine injuries.
Since graduating Koren has been focusing on spinal rehabilitation and in particular, acute and chronic lower back pain and has continued her education along this path. Koren has a particular interest in managing patients with a holistic approach to their active rehabilitation using a multidisciplinary team. Koren is passionate about ensuring that every patient she sees is provided with education and a plan regarding their specific condition to assure their goals are met, leading to a greater recovery.
Other areas Koren enjoys working with are chronic complex musculoskeletal pain conditions, neurological conditions and has completed her certificate in Dry Needling. In Koren’s spare time, she enjoys kickboxing, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Madison graduated from UQ Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2017 and has thoroughly enjoyed working as a private practice physiotherapist since. With his experience working in a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals, Madison thrives on working with the Sports & Spinal team to work toward the individual goals of his patients.
Madison has extensive experience in helping people overcome chronic pain obstacles on their way to improving their quality of life and is a firm believer that with the right approach, anything is possible when you put your mind to it. As a result, treating chronic pain and injuries that won’t go away is Madison’s particular interest.
Madison has also developed a strong passion for treating sporting injuries after competing as an elite tennis player in Australia. Outside of the clinic, he has a passion for road cycling, hiking, and after relocating to the Sunshine Coast, surfing will be next on the list. Overall, Madison utilises a holistic approach of hands-on therapy, dry needling, individual exercise programs, and education to work with patients to achieve their personal goals.

Zoe Divall
Neck, Headaches & Vestibular Physiotherapist
Zoe graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. She has a passion for improving people’s lives through evidence-based effective treatment modalities focusing on patient-centred goals and long term outcomes.
Zoe continues to complete extra training and ongoing professional development in neck/headache and vestibular treatments. Zoe creates treatment plans that aim to have you back to doing the things you love in a way that is realistic and has your goals at the core.
Zoe has always lived a very active lifestyle; is heavily involved with the local Surf Life Saving Club, and enjoys yoga, touch football and tennis. Zoe’s interest in a healthy lifestyle and general well-being will provide clients with a holistic treatment approach.

Meredith Hill
Lower Limb Physiotherapist
Meredith has extensive experience as a Sports Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor but has focused her practice in recent years on lower limb injuries. Meredith has a special interest in endurance sports, triathlon, and running-related injuries as a professional triathlete herself.
Meredith completes running assessments in the clinic using video analysis to diagnose and manage chronic running injuries. Meredith also has years of experience in post-operative rehab and compliments her treatments with dry needling, Kinesio taping, and gym-based functional strength training.

Katherine Harris
Podiatrist - General Care, Sports & Exercise
Katherine completed her Bachelor of Podiatry at the University of South Australia. After graduating she worked in private practice in Adelaide prior to moving to the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Katherine is passionate about lower limb health and enjoys helping people of all ages and abilities achieve their goals and maintain an active lifestyle.
Katherine is experienced in all areas of podiatry with a particular interest in musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries and rehabilitation, and ingrown toenail surgery.
Outside of work Katherine loves traveling and spending time in the great outdoors. She is also a keen netballer having played for over 20 years and more recently coaching at a junior level.

Will Christie
Exercise Physiologist
As a dedicated and passionate exercise physiologist, Will completed his Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2021. Following his graduation, he embarked on a successful year-long stint as a new graduate exercise physiologist, refining his skills and building a strong foundation working with a range of different clientele from DVA, Medicare, Work Cover and NDIS. Will’s positive attitude towards regaining normality and function within peoples lives yielded strong and joyful results.
In pursuit of his passion for rugby, Will relocated to the UK at the end of 2022 to play semi-professionally for 2 seasons. During his time in the UK, he worked on the NHS National Diabetes Prevention Program, where he gained invaluable experience working with service users at risk of Type 2 Diabetes delivering exercise interventions and helping with dietary and lifestyle adjustments. This experience further deepened his knowledge about metabolic conditions whilst also still having a strong interest in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation.

Sophie Wilkins
Women's Health Exercise Physiologist
Sophie is passionate about all things Women’s Health! This includes Pre- and Post-natal exercise and specific exercise prescriptions for Osteoporosis, Menopause and Pelvic Health.
Sophie strives to be a positive role model and believes that exercise can improve all aspects of health, including physical, mental and social health. Sophie will help you achieve your goals with an individualised treatment plan and exercise prescription. She believes that exercise should be a fun and enjoyable part of everyday life, so she will take time to educate you on the multiple benefits of a sustainable healthy lifestyle.

Gemma Egan
Chronic Disease Management Exercise Physiologist
Gemma has a strong belief that living an active healthy lifestyle improves both longevity and quality of life. She has completed a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science and has gained accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
Gemma has developed a passion for spinal rehabilitation and improving the quality of life for those suffering from lower back pain. She has also worked with a wide range of conditions including but not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, obesity, diabetes, heart conditions, and osteoarthritis.
Gemma has a strong focus on prescribing programs that are individually tailored and that can be self-managed for future health and fitness.

Louise Meek
Shoulder & Persistent Pain Physiotherapist
After moving to the Sunshine coast in 2010 from gaining experience working overseas in Canada, Louise continued to focus on musculoskeletal rehabilition in her speciality area acute and complex shoulder presentations. She also has a strong interest in complex and persistent pain and thoracic outlet syndrome.
Louise continued to work with the shoulder team on the Sunshine Coast after moving to join the Sports and Spinal Team in 2010. She was an Australian Institute of Sport athlete for 7 years in high diving and was a representative on the Australian team for 5 years, which is where her passion for physiotherapy originated. Then moving on to work with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in her early physiotherapy career.
Louise has been selected from thousands of physiotherapists in Australia to be included in the Shoulder and Elbow Physiotherapist group (SEPA). This is a selected group of elite Shoulder & Elbow physiotherapists. She works with the shoulder team and multiple specialsits on the Sunshine Coast to give the most up to date quality care.
Louise is very passionate about an educational, active, and functional approach to treatment to allow the individual to learn and manage their injury to prevent a recurrence. “I feel this gives people the tools to be the driver of their recovery”.

Dietitian
Candice is passionate about supporting her clients along their journey to reaching optimal health through food and nutrition. Shortly after graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast, she chose to start her dietetic career in private practice as she enjoys working closely alongside her clients and seeing the wonderful impact healthy lifestyle changes can make. Candice is committed to empowering and building her client’s confidence in making lifelong changes by providing personalised nutrition education and setting realistic goals.
She welcomes all types of clients and has a special interest in weight management, chronic disease management, and gastrointestinal health.
