The Bayside Physiotherapy team have joined the Sports & Spinal family to continue to provide the Highest Quality Patient Care. We support individuals and families across Urraween and surrounding suburbs with structured, outcome-driven care. Our location within Hervey Bay’s medical precinct allows for close collaboration with local GPs, specialists and health providers, ensuring continuity of care for both acute and long-term conditions.
We are located on the beautiful Fraser Coast in Urraween, conveniently located near Kawungan, Scarness, Pialba, Dundowran, Torquay, Urangan, Eli Waters, Point Vernon, Wondunna, and Nikenbah.
Bayside Physiotherapy/Sports & Spinal Hervey Bay offers Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, Exercise Physiology, Hydrotherapy, and Remedial Massage much more! We also have a fully equipped gym and Pilates studio.
The Bayside Physiotherapy/Sports & Spinal Hervey Bay team uses the latest evidence-based treatments to treat various conditions, including shoulder, neck and back pain, sporting injuries, lower limb conditions, women’s health, headaches, work cover incidents, pre-and post-surgical, motor vehicle accidents and more.
Our team will provide you with a comprehensive assessment and treatment from start to finish. Our clinicians will work with YOU to facilitate your complete recovery.
Treatment programs are tailored not only to diagnosis, but also to lifestyle demands common across the Hervey Bay region — including physically active work, recreational sport, age-related mobility concerns and post-surgical rehabilitation. This whole-of-person approach allows care plans to evolve as recovery progresses, rather than relying on one-size-fits-all treatment pathways.
With access to in-clinic rehabilitation spaces, exercise prescription and multi-disciplinary input, our Hervey Bay clinic is positioned to support recovery, injury prevention and long-term physical resilience for the local community.
Bayside Physiotherapy/Sports & Spinal Hervey Bay is NDIS registered and accepts Medicare rebates and HICAPS health fund claims. EFTPOS and credit card facilities are also available for payment.
Whether you are looking to recover from an injury or recent surgery or are suffering from general aches and pains, our multi-disciplinary team will help you to get back to doing what you love most!

Their knowledge is top notch and their commitment to rehab and getting the most out of minimising your recovery time is great.
They do hands on therapy, exercise programs, Pilates reformer, weights and more.

I have very complex physical medical conditions and saw Alanah today. She was positive, supportive, listened extremely well and responded perfectly to the severe pain I was in. Her massage skills and interest in what worked best for me were second to none. Well worth the time and money and I can’t wait to work with her again. Thank you Alanah….I haven’t needed to take the strong pain relief this evening I have had to take usually 🙂

Strong grip strength is also a key indicator of overall health. Research shows people with stronger grips often experience better health outcomes, faster rehab, and even improved cognitive function as they age. It’s a simple way to track progress, guide strength training, and monitor rehabilitation.
Big thanks to the legends at @coolum_sportsandspinal for this clip, the team has some serious grip strength!
