Nathan Craig

Persistent Pain Management

Nathan Craig graduated from Griffith University in 2009 with Bachelor Degrees in both Physiotherapy and Exercise Science. His main interests are in the field of sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a special interest in chronic pain management, as shown through his involvement as the physiotherapy director of the Brisbane Pain Rehabilitation Service.

Nathan has worked with sporting teams, CrossFit coaches, aged care providers, chronic pain management programs and many other allied and medical health professionals which have provided him with considerable knowledge to successfully treat a wide range of conditions and diseases. He uses a combination of hands-on techniques, dry needling, activity modification, self-management education, professional advice and therapeutic exercise to get patients back on track faster. Nathan also has extensive experience in assisting patients with their WorkCover, Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) and DVA case management to ensure their rehabilitation is smooth and comfortable.

In 2017 Nathan was involved in a research study into Predictors of Responsivity to Interdisciplinary Pain Management‘ with Rehabilitation Specialist, Dr Saul Geffen at Rehab + Fitness. Please click here to access the study.

Lucy Taylor

Musculoskeletal Physio

Lucy graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland where she also conducted research alongside a world-renowned Physiotherapist. Lucy is passionate about delivering holistic patient-centred care and establishing individualised rehabilitation programs so that you can achieve your goals and return to the things you enjoy in life sooner. Lucy is devoted to continuously expanding her skill set and knowledge so that she can provide superior treatment to every patient.

Luisa Grieco

General Physiotherapy

Luisa is a lover of sports and completed both her Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters of Physiotherapy at Griffith University here on the sunny Gold Coast. With 15 years of Ballet and 5 years of Aerobic Gymnastics Luisa enjoys combining her dancing background with her newfound interest in Pilates-based rehab. Along with this Luisa has enjoyed being involved with a number of sporting teams, with a passion for applying her physiotherapy skills to the Rugby Union and League Fields ranging from grassroots athletes and weekend warriors to the Queensland Cup State and WNRL level.

Luisa likes to use both a hands-on and exercise-based approach to helping people from all walks of life to achieve their goals and perform at their best. When she is not in the clinic you can find her on the side of a Rugby field,  at the beach (trying to surf) or enjoying the occasional hike in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Lauren Sexton

Exercise Physiologist

Lauren graduated from the University Of The Sunshine Coast completing a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science. Predominately working in private practice since graduating, Lauren has developed a clinical interest in geriatrics, weight loss/chronic disease management and injury prevention/rehabilitation.

As well as working in clinical settings, Lauren has also had experience in education (Certificate III and IV in fitness), clinical Pilates, sports performance enhancement (soccer) and sports training.

Lauren is driven by patients achieving their personal goals, returning to enjoyable activities and modifying the risk of morbidity to lead a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Sally Tyben

Remedial Massage Therapist

Sally believes that helping people achieve health and wellbeing is one of the most amazing things you could do for others.

Through a love and passion for massage, Sally obtained her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy through the Australian College of Massage in Melbourne in 2008.

Sally has worked closely with clients with all forms of muscular tension and pain. Sally’s strongest style of massage is remedial based, providing the client with deep tissue movements that will release tension and stress.

Kunga Tsering

Massage Therapist

Kunga was born in Tibet and grew up in India, he has been a massage therapist since 2007. Kunga owned his own Massage clinic in India for  5 years until he ventured to Australia. He studied with Australasian College of Natural Therapies and finished his course in 2018. In that time Kunga has worked with Sydney Roosters NRL team in 2018 and has worked with many other professional athletes in Sydney. He is fluent in English, Tibetan and Hindi and utilises a wide range of massage techniques (including Sports, Remedial, Tibetan and Relaxation) to help clients achieve their desired goals.

Tarni Sanewski

Dietitian

Tarni is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who is passionate about improving health, promoting recovery and preventing disease by inspiring healthy diet and lifestyle choices using a patient-centred approach. Graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics, Tarni has since had clinical experience working with acute cardiac and respiratory patients in hospital. Special interest areas include rehabilitation, weight management, cardiovascular disease, gut health and sports nutrition.

Outside of work, Tarni enjoys hiking, climbing mountains, exploring new places, drawing and photography. She is always experimenting with new foods, recipes and keeping up to date with the latest research in nutrition and dietetics.

Parking @ Woolloongabba

We are located at 48 Annerley Road, Woolloongabba. There are 5 parking spaces located on site in front of the clinic which is reserved for clients between 7.30am and 6 pm. If these parks are full there is overflow street parking nearby. As Woolloongabba is considered a metered parking zone, all streets are subject to metered parking.

The main streets we recommend are Heaslop, Crown and Catherine streets. Heaslop street, the street adjacent to us, has 30-minute, 2 hour and 4-hour parking. Crown Street, the street opposite us, has 2-hour and 8-hour parking available whilst Catherine street, which is on the other side of our block, has 4-hour parking only.  With the new Woolloongabba bikeway being constructed, there are no available parking spaces on Annerley Road.  Parking costs $2.70 per hour – for more information, please find the relevant link to the Brisbane City Council website.

Please note we do recognise that you have a choice of therapists and as such, we would like to thank you for choosing us by reimbursing any parking costs which may be incurred by visiting us. Please bring in your receipt at the time of your consultation. Finally, please do not park in the vacant parking lot located off Heaslop Street, opposite the bike shop, as hefty fines will be incurred.

Please allow for extra travel time in the Woolloongabba area and Annerley Road due to the Woolloongabba bikeway construction, due for completion in late 2019.  Thank you for your patience during this period.
