We are located next to the Clontarf Bridge Medical Centre. Conveniently located near Rothwell, Kippa-Ring, MargateWoody Point and Scarborough. Redcliffe Sports & Spinal can be easily accessed via car or public transport.

Sports & Spinal Redcliffe features on-site car parking. We’re NDIS registered, and Medicare rebates and HICAPS health fund claims are available. EFTPOS and credit card facilities are also available for payment. Our telehealth platform enables allied health Practitioners to use telehealth for secure video consultations and live exercise demonstrations. Our Telehealth consultations will continue to deliver the same outstanding level of care as our in-clinic services, where our experienced clinicians will provide a tailored treatment plan to help reach their health goals. Harris Johnston

Physiotherapist

Harris graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy along with a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University. He loves working collectively with patients to assist in achieving their goals and to relieve their pain through various treatment modalities. Whether in the treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pools, gym or CSM (Clinical Pilates) classes. Harris also enjoys implementing rehabilitation programs and preventative strategies to reduce the risk of re-injury.

Outside of work, Harris maintains an active lifestyle through mountain trail hikes, going to the gym and enjoys his days off at the beach with friends.

Harris is available for appointments at our Redcliffe clinic.

Montana Waddington

Women's Health/ General Physiotherapist

Born and raised in Australia, Montana graduated from the University of Queensland with 1st Class Honours. Having completed her Physiotherapy degree, she went on to work in private sports and musculoskeletal practice. It was there that she further developed her knowledge and application of manual therapy and soft tissue release techniques. She also completed courses in Dry Needling and Western Acupuncture and conducted regular Mat Pilates sessions.
Montana returned from working in the UK at the end of 2019, where she gained invaluable experience in a private hospital and in private practice in central London. On the orthopaedic ward, Montana fostered her understanding of surgical procedures and protocols and developed key relationships with some of the world’s leading surgeons.
She also worked in the boutique health and fitness space combining hands-on treatment with Dynamic Reformer Pilates. She taught group classes and quickly established herself a leading Pilates Clinician in the heart of London. Montana helped her previous company develop pre and postnatal care pathways and is always looking to extend her knowledge in this space. Her exercise prescription skills are a testament to the quality of training she received overseas.
Most recently Montana completed her Level 1 Women’s Pelvic Health course and is on track to complete Level 2 in 2022. She is enjoying seeing Women’s Health patients in the clinic and takes a weekly Pre/Post natal Pilates class.
Being a keen runner, gym-goer, and cook, Montana loves promoting a healthy (but balanced) lifestyle. She enjoys working with patients from all walks of life, and utilising the talented team here at Sports and Spinal to help her clients achieve their goals.

Montana is one of our Lead Physiotherapists and is in a 2IC role. She is available for appointments at our North Lakes and Redcliffe clinics.

Cara Niven

Physiotherapist

Cara completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane. She gained experience in many areas of physiotherapy, including musculoskeletal, women’s health, children’s orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory and community-based neurological rehabilitation.

Cara decided she wanted a career in physiotherapy at a very young age. As an avid soccer player, her interest was sparked by the care and support she herself received from physiotherapists for injuries she sustained on the soccer field.  Cara understands what it’s like to have an injury and knows how it can affect an individual physically, socially and emotionally. Therefore, you can be reassured that she will have your best interests at the forefront of her care. Together you will smash goals and return to what you love doing.

Outside of work, you can find Cara playing sport, shopping and sipping on coffee with her friends.

Cat Egan

Physiotherapist

Catherine completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with James Cook University before relocating to Brisbane. Catherine holds a passion for injury rehabilitation and prevention and enjoys assisting her patients in returning to their work, sports and hobbies. Catherine has a unique view, having previously worked in the emergency services, aged care and on the acute hospital wards in various locations around Queensland.

Catherine’s has various clinical interests, including musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Having previously competed at both national and international levels in Athletics and having dealt with various injuries herself, Catherine knows the demands of training and competing and strongly believes that movement is medicine!

Catherine also has clinical interests in women’s health and occupational rehabilitation and enjoys visiting patients in their homes who would otherwise have difficulty attending the clinic.

Catherine leads an active lifestyle, enjoys taking her two dogs for outings, spending time with family and friends and travelling. She also enjoys triathlon training, especially whilst her husband is away for work.

Zachary Howard

Exercise Physiologist

Zac graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast after completing his Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science. He strives to deliver enjoyable exercise programs that consider each patient’s goals and previous experiences to help them live a healthy and active lifestyle. He has a passion for postoperative patients rehabilitation as well as return to sports athletes at all levels.

Zac also holds a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and has worked in the strength and conditioning industry for the past 3 years. He likes to spend time rock climbing, playing tennis, or riding his motorbike during his time off.

Kerryn Wilson

Exercise Physiologist

Kerryn is an accredited Exercise Physiologist after completing a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Kerryn truly believes that exercise is a way of life, and moving your body has endless benefits that you can’t get from anything else. Kerryn is passionate about helping people and sharing her knowledge to help others. Her amiable, motivating, and caring personality will ensure you get the best experience possible throughout your journey. Kerryn has an interest in neurological conditions and loves the study of all things neurological.  Kerryn has had a lot of teaching experience with kids and has a dance background, so she understands what it is like not to be able to play your sport when injured and how important fast recovery is.

Outside of work, Kerryn enjoys being on the water, being active outdoors and painting.

Georgia Volz

Dietitian

Georgia is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, completing her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She strives to ensure her clients feel supported and empowered throughout their journey to better health through nutrition. Using evidence-based practice, Georgia can tailor nutrition strategies to each client to meet their goals. Georgia’s special interest areas include weight management, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and gastrointestinal health.

Georiga is available for Dietitian appointments at Springfield, Woolloongabba, North Lakes, Redcliffe and Chermsideclinics.

Sherry Latonero

Remedial Massage Therapist

Sherry graduated Diploma of Remedial Massage at Q Academy. Sherry decided to become a Remedial Massage Therapist as she is passionate and wanted to help patients increase their body movement. Sherry was drawn to remedial massage as she has always been fascinated by how the body works and how pain can affect people’s lives. Sherry does Dry Needling, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Cupping and Mobilisation.

When Sherry is not at work, you can find her Hiking and spending time with family. Sherry loves nature and being outdoors. Sherry has recently travelled to Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, China, and the USA. She can’t wait to do more travel in the future!

Thomas Abraham

General Care, Sports & Exercise Podiatrist

Podiatrist – Areas Treated: Foot, Ankle, Knee, Toenail Care

Tom graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Podiatry. Since leaving university, he has gained an interest in sports injuries, biomechanics and wound care and is always looking to learn more, allowing him to provide the best treatment he can. Tom has also spent some time working with running footwear, specifically ASICS.
During school and university, Tom was actively involved in playing soccer, tennis and completed athletics up to a state-level on a few occasions. Tom is a keen traveller spending a year in Europe and some time in Nepal volunteering and completing the Everest base camp trek. Tom also enjoys snowboarding when he can.

Julia Camporeale

Psychologist

Julia has many years of experience as both a psychologist and physiotherapist making her perfectly positioned to have a great understanding of both professions, particularly the overall pain experience and its underpinnings and complexities for clients. Through working for many years with physiotherapy injuries but also in areas of long term pain throughout many regions of Australia, Julia has developed her skills and a deep understanding of both physical pain and the psychology behind it. Julia has worked in the paediatric physiotherapy field for over three years and has developed a specialist area in working with children, particularly with autism spectrum disorder and in disability management.

Julia is available for Psychology and Paediatric Physiotherapy appointments at our Redcliffe and North Lakes location.
